I messed around with this last night although I specced into CGs because they're grenades and that's kind of my thing. There is a stagger CD on Centurions etc that I had to get used to, you can't just chain stagger them to death with pull spam. Also phantom jet boot is BS unless you launch them with the Venom.

I'm not sure how often kook uses a DV with a Reegar, but it's not winning combo without BC for the i-frames. Also his idea of playing White and camping is great except for the Primes throwing turrets through the wall. I can't wait for proof of victory with that method.

I just can't understand the logic behind this idea at all. There are so many things that are wrong with this build...no biotic charge, no cluster grenades...I'm not bored with this game yet, I still find a lot of enjoyment in playing it. I haven't reached a stage where I'd willingly want to try something like this. I've never heard of people leaving 21 points unspent. Like I said, it's just completely beyond me, I'll never understand it. I'd sooner move onto another game than to start playing with builds such as this. I love playing with optimal builds, powerful weapons and strong classes.

I never use the reegar on the drell vanguard. But this isn't a drell vanguard, this is some kind of abomination. If I was ever to do this, I would not even spec into pull. It doesn't make sense to have it on its own. It's a great power when you also have reave, cluster grenades or biotic charge. But on its own...that just makes no sense at all. So I just though I'd use a reegar with incendiary 4 and shotgun rail amp 3 to melt everything withut even needing to spec into any powers, because lets face it, what's the point of having pull on its own? It wouldn't be a nice solo, Limbs has taken all the fun out of the drell vanguard. He's a character that's supposed to be charging into enemies and nuking spawns with his cluster grenades. He's nothing without cluster grenades and biotic charge, those two powers together define him. It's like telling someone to solo gold with the geth infiltrator without using cloak or hunter mode. It can be done, but it would be dumb to nerf yourself like that.

Anyway, people are getting some super quick times with these solos, that's nice to see. I haven't even attempted this yet, just can't be bothered, I'm just playing like I normally do, but if I did try it, I'm sure my time would be much longer than what people have posted here. I was thinking about this thread yesterday when playing my drell vanguard fully specced for biotic charge and cluster grenades with a talon, and just thought of how silly it would be not to have those powers.

What's that in terms of N7? I'm not familiar with the blip as a unit of measurement.
