At what point in the final sequence of ME3 did you decide/feel that the ending stopped being good? It can be a screenshot, a scene or a piece of dialogue or right down to a specific word within a line.

For me, it ended when the Catalyst said "Without us to stop it, synthetics would destroy all organics". Before that there were smaller issues but from that point and onwards the game was a lost cause for me. It was from that point on where I realised Bioware had dropped the ball.

Since ME3 in it's entirety IS a final sequence?  The moment I realized half the old squad had been round-filed. Not sure when that was in the first playthrough, but midway through sounds about right.   This was before any DLC was out.... it got worse as Cerberus got dumber(er) and crescendo'd up to Space Brat's dialogue akd  "The Fortissimo of Bad".

TBH I have a real love/hate relationship with the ending, because Aesthetically I think it's amazing (maybe with the EC visualization of Synthesis aside) and in terms of atmosphere, presentation music you name it I really do think I love it, but it's really just the writing that shoots itself in the foot. I remember thinking before I saw the ending myself (and I had already heard a lot didn't like the ending) was that "it's probably just something abrupt, like Shepard just dying suddently at the final mission no matter what" or that "the ending was too deep and cynical for fangirls to like it" so I kinda expected a, what for me is a good kind of ending (I like the ending to the Matrix Trilogy BTW) and thought that the worst thing that could happen was just another heroic victory. It would've cheapened the reapers by their physical strength and ominosity if a conventional victory was possible in my opinion, and it would make Sovereign feel like a joke... but I didn't expect Bioware to make the Reapers seem like one big joke in another way which they did, quite frankly.

But before the kid actually started talking, and just the moment when Shepard rose up to the underside of the Citadel Tower and that amazing piece of Sam Hulick music started it was amazing, and in terms of choreography and so on, I still consider the ending to be amazing... up until you make the choice.

I'll agree with the music. The ME3 soundtrack is freakin' amazing.

Right when i saw the catalyst I felt it was gonna be al ittle wierd i was like "okay, little blue kid, lets see where it goes from here" and BAM all the sudden i'm picken the color of bubble to engulf the galaxy! and that part bothered me a little but when the credits showed up, I expected there to be one of those after credit scenes with like (for destroy end) a reaper turns back on, or for it to atleats, the very LEAST they should tell us what happens to every one!

I think I disagree about the music.
The EC should've included a different music peice for each ending. Or well, maybe it should've come with the original game.
Or maybe the original game should've come with more soundtrack itself. Most of the good tunes came from ME2, and honestly they should've kept even more of them. The good new tracks weren't used often enough.

Heh? REALLY?
Wow. I got to make sure I listen for it when I beat the game this time. Since I'm doing three simultaneous playthroughs this time maybe I'll hear it.
Wait, I mean the Credits. Not the slideshow. I know those have different peices, with Control giving you Saren's theme. Sort of.
