There were actually other weapons we could pick up on the Collector Ship in ME2 besides the claymore?

How is it on Human Soldier with adrenaline rush?

I can't comment on that, but it'd be good on a Turian Soldier as he has high accuracy/weapon damage passives as well as Marksman.

I may try it but I prefer weapons like the Indra or sometimes the Revenant on the Turian Soldier

On a soldier Shep in a pre-Mattock-DLC world, the Revenant with incendiary ammo could waste absolutely everything in ME2.   In 3, it ended up getting kind of outshined by stuff like the Typhoon and Harrier, but I still prefer it to those two in some cases because of the zero spool up time and insane ammo capacity.

For me it's because it's a very nice *defensive* weapon.

By defensive, I mean that it can OSK most enemies in the game, especially those enemies with high DPS (Marauder, Collector Captain, Geth Hunter, Nemesis). This allows you to expose yourself very minimally to enemy fire and become much more survivable.

It makes a huge difference, really, especially on a squishy character such as the Fury.

But, if you have other means to increase your survivability (Cloak, movement speed boost, on demand Shield/Barrier regen), you would be able to play much more aggressively (i.e. stay a bit longer out of cover), which means the Claymore is outclassed by several other short range weapons such as the Raider and the Hurricane.

Good point, but Talon can't OSK many enemies without equipments. Claymore can.

Fair enough. I just personally can't see the Fury with a Claymore is all. Not that there's anything wrong with it, of course. To each their own.

Then it's time to open your eyes to her true glory. :)

The only character who can use a Claymore and still consistentently Warp Explode (with a x1.875 damage multiplier) by herself every 1.63 seconds. Say goodbye to Dark Channel because you don't need it! Except 3 points in it to prime your Warp Ammo, of course.

Interesting. Wouldn't it be more fast-paced (and riskier, obviously, but what fun would it be if it wasn't?) if you just skipped DC and put 6 ranks into everything else, or does Warp Ammo not get bonuses from targets primed by Annihilation Field?

Talon X -1300 damage per round with HB and pistol upgrades without taking into account passives weapon damage or a kits unique weapon bonuses.

And I hardly ever use the Reegar. I use it on classees like the Batarian Brawler with his extra ammo capacity and I used it back when everybody used Vorcha all day long.

Actually, it's only 1200 per shot, but it certainly has a higher DPS than the Claymore (especially against shields/barriers). It's just not a one-shot-one-kill machine on its own.

Ok. It may only be 1200  Kalence says HB + Pistol gear + Pistol amp gives 1300 dam.. In any case it is a good alternative for those who are not so accurate or who prefer not to have to RC constantly .
On a kit like the GI it is powerful enough for one shotting mooks.
The only weapon that seems to come close to the Claymore in terms of damage per shot is a fully charged GPS.

Sometimes you need to prime enemies from range. Well, I need to because I don't use Cyclonics.

It has unusually good range for a shotgun, ridiculous damage per shot, solid long term DPS, and is balanced fairly.

Unlike the Reegar cheese hose that's so OP you could nerf it 50% and it would still be the most OP weapon in the game.
