May be heresy but i've never been a fan of it (PC). Wraith is my ultimate favorite shotgun. It has just enough damage, 2 shots, and waaaay better accuracy. This is the reason it's black carded while claymore is not.

I love that people still think reload canceling is cheating. This is the first shoot type game I've ever played (old school RPG and strategy games geek) and even I know better.

How can it be cheating when the devs specifically put that feature in for the very purpose people use it for?

That's like saying that using ammo consumables is cheating.

Claymore is still a damn fine weapon BUT most of it's legendary status came from the fact it used to be the best SR in the game when enemy shield gate negated most SRs from being as good as they are today. Throw in the fact that it's easier to headshot with a pellet based weapon. With RCIng the DPS of it becomes pretty ridiculously good.

The answer is simple. Becouse it has one of the highest damage output in this game. Its accuracy isn't a problem, not even without Smart Choke if people aim well. Use smart choke combined with destroyer mode/hunter mode and we turned this shotgun into a nice sniper rifle.

Reload cancelling and instant ammo refill powers(adrenaline rush, marksman) make it even more deadly.
