Why would you use the Reegar on anything with Marksman?

Why not.

Because it loses hits at low FPS at normal ROF, jacking up the ROF is stupid as is jacking up the accuracy. The Reegar is awesome on anything period end of story as long as you can get close enough to melt faces off.

The Reegar is a great gun if:

- You are a good player that knows all the spawns.
- You are a good player and know how to attack from close range and not get totally exposed to attacks.
- You are a good player and know how to use just the right amount of the beam to kill things without wasting ammo and having to run to an ammo box.

In other words it's a great weapon for about 1/4 of all players probably. even if the % is higher on these forums. (Of course we all know that anyone that plays silver or below and anyone not on these forums simply doesn't count right?)

Or Kroguard, or Batguard, or AIU, or TGI, or BatSent, Juggernaut, etc.

Why would that be stupid.  If anything, it seems that increasing ROF brings it closer to what it is on PC.  Preference on accuracy is subjective.  I prefer it.

It cannot do any more damage in such a short time, it hits the limit, and half it's damage gets simply deleted, increasing the rate of fire simply flushes damage down the toilet even more,

unless you have a pc running at over 90 fps you cannot squeeze more damage out of it by increasing the rate of fire

This thread has more fail than a bottom-board pug with a Reegar AIU.

I always distinguish between a good build, a good character, and a good gun. There are guns, like the reegar, that will do well on any kit if the player is capable.

aiu/juggie with reeger can do well even if the player is anencephalic.

Not if there's at least one good player in the lobby.

AIU but only if speced into repair matrix and Juggy I will give you.  The rest are all still iffy for a lot of players.  This forum and the lolkroguard reegar is the exception not the rule.  If you pug conider the number of times you run into bsner svs non bsners and the number of good load outs vs suspect ones.  No matter wht class you play you have to get close to the enemy for the Reegar and that means death for a lot of players.

but the Reegar is still hilariously overpowered when compared to other guns which require CQC.
