Morrigan will always be #1, because Claudia Black.
I never had much use for Sebastian. Didn't hate him, though. Same with Fenris, the whole angsy anime thing was mildly annoying.

Wow...I like quite a few of them, but my favorite is....Alistair? He was goofy, sweet, kind, and the perfect brother character for my Warden.

Alistair - I adore his romance with the Warden. It's so awkward and adorable and sweet. He's still complex without throwing his personal issues at you constantly (well, the Duncan stuff got old, but, well... We can't have everything).
Sten - I loved the conversations at camp and in Denerim with him. He didn't have such an easy "pattern" to gain friendship with, which I found very interesting. Also, he loves cookies and kittens.
Zevran - I haven't finished a romance with him (yet), but his relationship with the Warden as a friend towards the end of the game with his sidekick speech tears me up. (Sane with Oghren's pre-battle speech)
Nathaniel - Especially with Human Noble origin. I actually killed him my first go-round, to keep my promise to Rendon (****) Howe, but I've recruited him ever after. He's subtle but has a wonderful character arc.
Varric - Duh. (looks at banner)
Fenris - Making him laugh with SarcastaHawke makes me feel fuzzy inside. Don't judge me.
There aren't really any characters I hate (okay... Velanna and Carver), though I'm not a huge fan of Leliana or Oghren, but even then it's only a few minor things. I love all of them.
Even Anders.

Can't really say who are my favorites , I like them all more or less.
But there's one I just can't stand , it's warden Bethany.
She's so freaking passive agressive and just keeps on moaning about how she wished she was dead...when she doesn't just claim , She is a walking dead.the banter from Legacy DLC are full of that.
I just wanted to push her off a cliff.Problem solved.

In order from from left (most favorite) to right (least favortite of my faves).
Dragon Age: Origins: Morrigan, Alistair, Leliana
Awakening: Mhairi, Ser-Pounce-a-Lot, Anders, Sigrun, Justice
Dragon Age II: Bethany, Varric, Aveline
I should give mention to DA:O (not Awakening!) Oghren because he gave the best speeches towards the end.

From Origins:
Zevran - He knew who he was, and what he had been raised/trained to be, and was unapologetic about it. And even after seeing and being involved in the seedier aspects of ferelden soceity he still had a sense of humor....even if it was usually used to deflect. Plus, if you get on his good side, freind him, even romance him, there's a depth of character there that IMHO the others in Origins are missing.
Sten - Man I loved him. Stoic, bull headed, so sure of himself, a perfect example of the self assuredness that brainwashing (or never having to really think for your self) can deliver. Such a dry delivery and sense of humor. My city elf characters loved him. And the cookies.
Awakenings:
Nathanial - Liked that he was an enemy you could spare, that kind of hated you, and then through time and new information, discovered that what he thought was right, wasn't the whole story. Great example of why one shoud never assume anything.
DA2:
Anders - I liked how his character when from Anders in Awakenings to the Anders-Justice in DA2, and how the melding of the two of them, kind of threw both of them off (although I NEVER liked Justice in Awakenings.....to much black and white vision in him) and I liked how Anders was pretrty much dead set on what he was going to do, you helping him or not.....he had an agenda, and a life outside of Hawke, and an ideal (no matter how messed up it might have been) that he was going to stick to. But I have to agree.....most often revolutions are started when the opressed can no longer take it, and some event (usually violent) happens that sets off the 'war' that will change things.
Aveline - Finally! A strong kick-but female....with a feminine side she's wary of showing. Her companion quest with Donnic was great. Add Isabella to the mix, and those two were perfect together.

From DAO: Sten, Alistair, love to hate Morrigan, Bann Teagan, and Nathaniel. . . I really liked Duncan, and especially so in The Calling.
DA2: Varric, Feynriel, and Carver.
From DAI: The Iron Bull, right now. I love how he looks. His *possible* personality (based on the survey) has me a bit concerned. I don't really want a Qunari Oghren, but we'll see.

My top four are probably Alistair, Morrigan, Varric, and Shale.
I also learned to love Sten. He was off putting at first but if you put the effort in, it was worth it.
I hated Valenna from Awakening and the New Anders in DA2. I swear instead of melding with Justice, Anders melded with Valenna instead. Ugh. Worst. Characters, EVER.

I don't think I'm going to like Vivienne very much. And I already don't like Cassandra because of DotS and how she treated Varric in DA2
