Kocka and I tried the Collector challenge. I got grabbed by a Praetorian with 20 seconds left. Also, I suck with the Collector adept.

Power in creation (improves my time a bit and puts Slim 1 away from completionist)-

Awesome medal synergy on the scoreboard. Slim will upload later, complete with fireworks show as we try to shoot down the shuttle with victory rockets (we each had 3 rockets left over)

I am a scrub with the Collector Adept. I barely played him at all before I stopped playing back in June, so he took a lot of getting used to. We also just finished up the Asari duo and had a pretty nice run on there. All I have left is the Gangs of the Terminus and bonus challenges before they are all done!

Question:

3 Waves survived and 1 Killstreak even count as personal-Medal like in the other Challenges(but just not in Gold) for "Reach the Normandy" ?

Good question... I guess in my mind, it didn't count when I thought of the requirement. I guess I have to say yes, it counts however (to maintain some form of consistency) as long as Alquinn and Techturian don't mind, since they've already completed it.

Each of these (melee kills/grabs/pistol kills) in this particular challenge is about as challenging as getting a killstreak and more challenging than getting a waves survived medal in my opinion.

Don't know Techturian's thoughts on the matter though.

I have a different point of view. I mean, since u only have to get a bronze medal e.g. just 1 grab for a medal, it is easier than 3 waves survived in my opinion. But anyways, i will accept whatever Prestacious will decide. :-D

^ I'm fine with it. I think for many players killstreaks and 3 waves survived may be harder than say the one grab, mainly because of the element of coordination (for the waves survived at least). I agree it is quite subjective though.

Let's just say, I'll accept it (primarily because even just hitting the bronze medals counts and because it's a bonus challenge so the time doesn't factor into the Leaderboard), but I'm going to be going for 6 medals the traditional route

The map doesn't offer a whole lot of grabbing points (*cough*) and it's huge, so actually getting to those grabs is either tedious or lucky.

I may be missing the sarcasm (maybe thats what cough means) but one grab is cake on Vancouver.  There are a ton of grabs spots there, just wait for last enemy on wave 1 and 2 and let them charge you toward a spot.

We got double devices. Bleh. Wave 3 was devices, six was escort and 10 was devices again. Had we gotten targets on wave 10, it would have been tad faster. Extraction was pretty clean too.
