I was able to get on for 2 games with Mobius, Merc, and Kocka before we all got knocked off the servers again. Just going to bed since I have to get to the doctor in the morning.

Have been admiring Pres's awesome challenges for quite a while now, but knew there was no way I'd ever manage the stuff in the solo thread.  Yay for the duos, and especially yay for Prestacious for his hard work on these fiendishly clever duo sets.

Managed to con SilentStep79 into trying the first set - "Bloodlines" with me.  We had a blast, and I have to thank him for his endless patience (note the times, all because I'm a relentless kiter and horrible with damage output).  Neither of us can record, so I only have screenshots, but then, let's face it ... we are never going to be Hall of Fame stuff with our runs. 

Everyone should try these tho, they are truly fun!  Difficult, yet manageable for those of us who are comfortable on Gold but not soloists.

Bloodlines
"The Measure of an Individual"



Step was Thane, I was Kolyat.  Objectives were escort, hack, hack.  I don't think I've ever been as nervous as wave 5 trying for the survival medal - I was already through my ops packs (escort burned them up) and spent most of that wave with less than one bar of health on my super squishy drell.  I must've made poor Step circle that map a thousand times with me that wave as I ran as soon as I "saw" any enemy.

Learned to like the Valiant, though, and we both got pretty good with the headshots very quickly.  It took 4 tries for success.

I've watched the videos of all you guys who did it in 25 min or less and all I can say is I am quite simply in awe of your skill.  Truly amazing!!

"Power in Creation"



Step was Liara, I was Benezia (insert yer age jokes here).   Objectives were escort, targets, targets.  It took us a few practice tries to figure out how I'd get my fourth gold medal (gave up on a weapons medal pretty quickly... 'dat Disciple )  so we both did grabs.  A bit cheesy, but fun!!!  This was our third full on attempt.  Note Step got 5 Gold Medals, that overachiever!

I've been thinking about how to accommodate those who can't record for a while now - I even posted in the group asking for some ideas. I'm going to implement an honorary category for those with screenshots only in the next couple days. Your hard work will not go unnoticed! (That goes for dida, kb Ari and Clyde too )

Good luck in Set II! I already have some fun ideas for set 5 muahaha!

Here's the vid for our redo of Haestrom. I went as Kal Reegar on this one and used a different build fully focused on maximizing accuracy and dps out of the Adas (Yes, even scoped it!). It worked pretty well

I also made Notable Mentions categories for runs completed without vid. Hopefully that's cool with everyone. These runs won't count towards the completionist board without a vid. I still wanted to recognize them nonetheless!

This was an interesting challenge and my first bonus challenge attempt in either the solo or the duo side of things. This was the faster time out of two attempts that Pres and I did for this challenge. We shaved off around 7 minutes from our first attempt. I really loved this challenge. I kept losing track of how many medals I had. A sub 30 on this challenge is possible on consoles. Objectives just have to fall into place. We got double escorts and targets. Wave three and ten had the escorts and six had the targets.

The weird thing was I kept getting tech burst kills on all the armored enemies. Brutes and ravagers mainly. Predator proved to be a really reliable way to prime enemies for tech bursts. Funny part is, the build I used for this challenge was the same one I used for the First Blink After Coma solo challenge. Worked like a charm. EXPLOSIONS AHOY!!!



This was our original time and we had double targets and a single escort. It would have been faster had Pres not gotten screwed over by a banshee on wave 9 and I had to solo it.

Predator is best used by attaching the power magnifier and melee stunner and resorting to grenading and meleeing all the things!

Yeah, I got grabbed like 1 sec into wave 9 on our first attempt and watched Krauser solo the whole thing lolimascrub. Come on, not bad for medals though right? I'm just gonna put it out there *cough* kocka that I currently hold the record with 9 medals on two occasions

I actually really enjoy the Reach the Normandy challenge I'm down for doing it again at some point if anybody is interested. I wouldn't mind trying it as Shep.
