Set 8 - Mission 1 - Bosh'tet

Don't know how much to say really. Tried it as it is a setup we are both comfortable running. We held the control room on non-objective waves, the GI by the door, the QFE by the back corridor. We both dropped once in wave 3, since we were soo concentrated on taking the first target down without missiles - like the pros we are (not) - we didn't notice the pair of bombers sneaking in from the back... Hack was in the landing zone, had to step out and kite it once. Wave 8 was the most intense probably, especially since we needed it for the 5-waves survived achievement: had to briefly abandon the control room to the zerg rush of bombers and pyros. GI took care of the pizzas, more speed and more shields, with some awesome kiting and support from the QFE. Liberal use of missiles to clean up. I caused emexia to wonder if the geths had hacked my GI, when it whipped its missile launcher out at extraction... then I came to my senses A blast to play, and looking forward to post more in this thread!

Welcome to the duo thread! Yes, yes, duo challenges are lovely. As you're likely to conclude yourself (if you haven't already), duo is the most engaging way to play this game, and the only mode where you really need to cooperate with another player, since just running around killing things with no attention paid to what your partner is doing might just not cut it. Good job with Bosh'tet, it happens to be one of my personal favorites.

 

As for the format of the submissions, take a look at how they're recorded in the HoF and mimic it, to minimize the amount of work Pres needs to do when archiving.

 

Hope to see more of you (two), this thread has been asleep for too long.

Yes, I never get tired of turian duos. It's what I do. I probably won't be on the PStriple until next Thurs/Fri/Sat though.

See all of London in less than 40 minutes, as our banshees will make sure you never stay still GI equipped warp ammo and went all in for sniper damage; the QFI equipped phasic to be able to 1-shot marauders, and went with duration on tac cloak, to minimize danger on possible devices; stickies helped upping her damage vs. big units. I have gained a newfound respect for the Mantis... but I think I can speak for the both of us when I say it's going straight back in the armoury

We got lucky with objectives, even though the drone decided to stroll in the middle of the square; we hot potatoed it, taking our turns getting in range, then kiting half the enemies away, while the other one sprinted in. Missiles were used quite liberally on targets, this time noone brought back any extraction was a simple matter of running the map twice.
