I played several characters using the DLC and now I try to load my saved games and I cant because the game says I need to buy and download this DLC (I already downloaded and played with) to open the character games. Is there any reasonable explanation for this?
I used the code and downloaded the DLC and it worked until now.

If everything still shows up on your Registered Game Promotions Page you have a technical problem, better addressed in the technical support forum for the platform you bought the game on.
If you're on the PC version, this is often caused by problems with the Dragon Age Origins Content Updater Service not starting automatically when the game launches. Try manually starting it before the game starts:
1.) Press the windows key + R (or click Start and then RUN) and type in services.msc and press ENTER
2.) Locate the Dragon Age: Origins - Content Update in the list of services.
3.) Right click it and select START
