Hi all. I decided to use an area from Elminster Ecologies, a forest of elves. Anywho... the area has a noise distorted sound at all times, but only on the toolset. I disabled all sounds, still there. I deleted some of the placed ones, still. When in game it runs fine, and is very beautiful, but this sound makes it hard to work on the toolset without muting the whole sound of my PC. Anyone knows why this happens?

Does the area have a music track associated with it? If it does is it have a constant bittrate of 128.?
Things can get a little flaky if not.

Hmm, yes it does but just one of the stock ones. The Adventurers Guild one. I tried others too, it doesn't go away. Weird.

Could it be a vfx sound?

I thought of it, however when I zoom out completely it's still there. Will have to check this more I guess.

Did you have air elementals in the area?
In my experience air elementals don't like to be deleted, and will still semi-exist and play their wooshing sounds after "deletion". They won't show up on the creature list, but will appear despite you deleting them in a corner of the map. Despite being manually selectable, they can't be deleted. My solution was to copy the area with terracoppa.

There are elementals as vfx not creatures. So I guess this is it. Still, the sound is only on the toolset, so it's not much of a problem. Thank kamal.

Good. You can use terracoppa to copy the area but leave out the vfx if you want to get rid of them.
