Anyway. 

-As much as I personally don't hate the endings, many did, I don't want that to be the last (chronological) event in the ME:U

-The Drell's debt was repaid! I wonder what he will do now.

-I want to see the Vorcha trying to adapt to the galaxies norms. 

-New species that aren't just dead.

-A prequel would either have no new technology/weapons or no humans. Neither of which I feel like a new installment should do.

I just want a sequel because a prequel would be a waste of time and pointless.

In fact opposite is true here.

Human prequel, lets say 20 years back, would have mostly "new" weapons, because known weapons and armors from original trilogy doesn't exist in it or aren't spread enough, they would just have retrodesign.

to 1) I completely agree.
2) Halo did a nice job in this regard. I wouldn't be afraid that NextME would lack "new"

Maybe, but if the new weapons are effective enough, I would just be annoyed that they aren't in me1, unless the MC is for some reason using secret test weapons, but still IMO, a prequel taking place about anything we know just wouldn't be fun, and anything else we know loses anyway (because of the reapers)
