Been looking around for anything on ME4. Only reason why I am excited for the VGX's this year is because I hope that their is a ME teaser tralier or something.  Yesterday I stumbled upon this article ( http://indoctrinatio...cret-pax-panel ) through the Twiiter thread, so it got me thinking. If you guys and gals had to pick two races in the entire series to see vanish, which would they be and why?

Also not sure if there is any truth to this article, but none the less it is really interesting to think about.

-Drell

I basically want all else in some form, even expanded in many cases.

Ultimately I don't want any removed, except maybe Krogan, and more definitely Geth/Quarians based on our choice. Otherwise, keep em.

Elcor and drell, two pointless races.

Most BSNers would probably say humanity.

I would prefer if none of the races were gone, but if I had to choose two: Quarians and Batarians.

And I would prefer that  the Asari are not emphasized as much in the next game.

In order (not sure if the top 3 count)

Geth
Elcor
Hanar
Quarians
Drell

It's tricky though and would really like to know what it means. Having their species wiped out is quite different to simply not having character models made for them because they don't feature in the story.

I'd rather see them all return. But if I absolutely had two remove two from the next game, these would be my choices:

Quarians

Vorcha

- Quarians (...or Geth, based on our choice)
- Do reapers count?

Now this is given that they don't expand upon these races and leave them as is, in which case I find the Vorcha and Hanar to be quite boring/under developed IMO.

I like the Quarians as they are in suits, take them out and they are basically humans I feel. Drell fascinate me as aquatic creatures (wish we could've gone to their homeworld) same with Elcor (again homeworld, here's to hoping in MENext)

That's why I'd drop them if two races had to be removed. The awful Tali reveal kind of ruined them.

Batarians, Vorcha, Elcor, Hanar, and Drells, because by the end bioware's story tellers pretty much forgot they existed as anything other then plot fodder, comedic relief, or not even showing them.

Don't forget you need some enemies. You may not like talking to Vorcha and Batarians, but do you like shooting them?

Drell, Hanar, Volus, Elcor, Batarian, Salarian, Rachni, Thorian, Leviathan, Geth, AI, VI, and Reapers

also the Turians should be almost nearly at the point of extinction

Batarians are my favorite race, why do you think I named myself brotarian? And nothing beats the flamer imo. But the way bioware handled them, and vorcha, and drell, and elcor, and hanar, was pretty damn crappy. So much so I doubt anyone would notice if they were gone and you just replaced batarians and vorcha with mechs and weapon mounted verrans.

very much, only batarian i've seen worth liking is bray seems a decent sort.

i dont think they should outright cut races out, jsut shift the focus to new races and some old that didnt get the limelight, i mean we've only seen a small percentage of the galaxy. there's literally millions of systems, planets and races the devs could create and still not fill up the canvas completely.
