What two races does BSNers think they could live without in the next ME?

Turians and Salarians, we only need the blue chicks for fun and a bunch of lesser races to kick ass.

Everyone wants to see the Drell gone. This hurts me.
OT: Vorcha and Volus.

Well, aside from obvious ones like Vorcha and Raloi and Yahg
Geth and Drell (literally had to check to even remember what they were called). Probably Hanar too, actually.
And on the flipside, I might be really quite annoyed if Batarians no longer exist after what they did to them in ME3.

Actually I'd just like to point out that when I say Geth, I mean the Geth as they were at the end of ME3 if you let them live that long. Because before all the Pinnocchio malarkey, they actually were fascinating.

Hanar - we hardly see them anyway
Elcor - we hardly see them anyway
Geth - well aren't they dead?

Hanar elcor and volus. They're unfortunately only used as jokes. Every other race I hope gets expanded on. Batarians, yagh, vorcha, and some new races. And I'd like a squad mate of very race if possible.

I don't particularly dislike any of the races. But I would like to see some new ones having a significant presence, especially if the next game is set far in the future (which I really hope it is).
If some races had to be pushed into the background, I would not mind quarians or asari getting a less prominent role. We have spent a lot of time with them already and I was never particularly enamoured with them in the first place.

Volus (when I talk with them it always sounds like talking to a very slow vaccuum cleaner. It's just plain annoying to always wait for them to finish breathing before the conversation continues)
Asari (Asari, Asari everywhere. Seriously, there are way too many Asari in the games already. Can't we have some kind of Genophage for them as well?)

Second (twentieth?) cutting back on Asari. The blatant writer-love they get showered with has kind of soured me on them.
Drell are pretty much stuck on Kahje, so it'd make sense not to see them. Only had two in the main series, anyways.
Volus are just comic relief. They're fun enough to have around, but I wouldn't miss them.
Love the Quarians, but I have to admit they were vastly overrepresented given their numbers (17mil in a galaxy of >30bil, and you randomly run into half a dozen outside their fleet and home system?)
Krogan are pretty omnipresent for a dying race, too.

Elcor and Hanar, I don't really like either of them.

Oh, and I've got to agree. The writers seem to love the Asari waaaaaaay more than any of the other races. I don't advocate killing them off, as their influence on the universe is far reaching, but I do advocate reducing their importance on the storyline. Can they just go back to being another companion/member of the galactic community, instead of being the most important, next to Humans?

Hanar, Volus. They only ever stood around in the background and seem unfit to fight which is quite important in the ME universe (at least if they wanted to make them squadmates).
On the other hand, Asari, Turians, Krogan, Quarians and Salarians are the well-known faces of the series. Taking one of them out would mean less to make me feel familiar with in the next game.
Drell could use some more love. Thane was a fascinating character, guess that's colouring my judgement here. At least there's room to flesh them out more.

I like the Vorcha for some reason. Maybe because they yell and get bloodlust ecstatic, jump around, wave around jets of fire, are considered vermin, speak with quirky short sentences and excessive gestures, survive plagues, have adaptable cells for every situation (biochemistry student here) and can only live for 20 years... like me:D But seriously, there are some similarities I share with them and some things that are opposite from my usual behavior and they have some funny quirks or cool things (flamer, bloodlust, omni-claws, their CELLS). I really would like to see more of them (and perhaps less of the stereotypes).
I'm interested in the batarian (four eyes, xenophobic but proud), volus (comical, yet it doesn't go unnoticed by them), elcor and hanar (last two have quirky speech patterns and yes, are usually used as jokes) preciously because they are so quirky and different, which is probably because they aren't focused on like the asari, turian, krogan and salarian, who need to be more relatable or mainstream, I guess? I'm a fan of cyborgs and robots, so the geth are all swell in my book and though I'm not that much into the 'mystery' behind Tali's helmet (hence why I didn't pick her, PLEASE don't shoot me), but I like them as tech experts and a wrecked species.
Though I like the main races as well, I wouldn't mind if they got a lot less focus, especially if you have so many races at your disposal.
So, who I could miss, perhaps the hanar/elcor and the turians/asari/salarians if the focus and stereotypes remain as they are.
Edit: I haven't seen much if anything from the drell besides Thane (and I didn't go with Femshep so yeah, little interaction), so they're interesting... though reading that they were designed as the hot male equivalent to the asari (who look female to humans, e.g. us) has left me quite biased:p

We really need Volus, Batarian and Vorcha crew for next ME game.
If any race has to go then some less important like Elor and Hanar

I'd ditch asari because they only exist for sex appeal, and volus because they only exist for comedy. Some titillation and comic relief here and there is fine, necessary even, but there really shouldn't alien races that exist solely for those reasons.
