I am trying to use some invalid character (such as various critters uploaded on NWN Vault) in single play. IIRC, in case of NWN1, modifying "Single Player Enforce Legal Characters" line in nwnplayer.ini file was enough. But I cannot find such a line in nwn2player.ini (both of them). And adding a line does not seem to work.
Do anybody know how to do this in NWN2?

Isn't that a server setting? Are you trying to host a game?

No, just a single play. But when I try to use some unusual characters such as Skeleton Fighter as a PC, the game says that is an invalid character and a module does not start.

Is there perhaps something in the game options (via the in-game interface) that allows you to turn it off?

That's it! I was adding the line under [Game Options] instead of [Server Options].
Now I can play some Undead and Beast characters. Still I cannot play Dragon, Elemental & Outsider.
I can add those characters via SoZ Party Editor, though.

Result of some additional experiments.
After the modification of nwn2player.ini, now I can play Undead and Beast characters.
I still I cannot play Dragon, Elemental & Outsider with some racial HDs. But can play one without racial HDs but the one with PC class levels only.
For example, I cannot play an erinyes with 9 Outsider HDs (levels) as the main PC. But can play an erinyes which I replaced all her levels with PC classes.
Any of the above characters can be added to my party via SoZ Party Editor.
But there is another problem. When adding a monster character with PC class levels, It's Max HPs will become either strangely low (in case of Outsider) or strangely high (in case of Undead).
I have created one each of outsider and an undead. Both of them are Warlock 17/Fighter 1 and with Con 14. Both of them have 148 HPs when playing as the main PC.
But when added as a party member via SoZ Party Editor, the outsider's HPs total is 76, while the undead's HPs total is 186.
