These 10 questions originally came from a French series, "Bouillon de Culture" hosted by Bernard Pivot.

They're better known as the questions that James Lipton asks every guest at the end of "Inside the Actor's Studio" show.

Answers them for yourself, and have fun with your friends. You'll be amazed at how much they reveal about a person's thoughts, feelings and beliefs.

What is your favorite word? Tranquil
What is your least favorite word? "Epic", doubly so if spoken by a teenager
What turns you on creatively, spiritually or emotionally? Music.
What turns you off? Stupidity.
What is your favorite curse word? I don't curse that often, but they're all fine in my book.
What sound or noise do you love? Water - like a brook, not a faucet.
What sound or noise do you hate? Someone using an emery board. It's my "nails on a chalkboard". I actually have to leave the room if someone's using one. Oddly enough, if I hear the sound but don't know what it is, I'm fine.
What profession other than your own would you like to attempt? Musician. I have no formal training and very little talent, so I'd fit right in these days.
What profession would you not like to do? Surgeon. I get light-headed when I get anything bigger than a paper cut. I can watch all manner of gory movies, but anything medical and I'm squinting pretty hard.
If Heaven/Hell exists, what would you like to hear God/the Devil say when you arrive? "Well, you were wrong, but hey, nobody's perfect."

  Fiasco. As in 'jackass fiasco'. It rolls off the tongue perfectly.

  Anything where I have to deal with customers. Been there, done that, and I suck at customer service. That's why I work in IT.

4. What turns you off? Overly religious people esp Christians and Muslims but basically anything or anyone who oppresses people for being different or having a different way of viewing the world.
