BioWare has made everyone cry, laugh and keep one on the edge with suspense. Amazing storylines, thickening plots, challenging combat, deep personality and game series that have rocked the foundation of RPG games. And now, in less than 265 days or so they will release a game that will shake the gaming world again.

In Mass Effect 3 there were moments that simply made you cry without wanting or knowing. That is until the endings that left people with a lot of question marks and raised hundreds of theories as to what realy hapened with Sheppard and if the Reaper war ended.
After the forums were flooded with heavy critics and probably thousands of unsatisfied people. BioWare took all of that as though love and fixed everything instead of all the words and messages from people falling on deaf ears. Or they could have simply replied to all of the fans: "It's our game so deal with it." and end everything. And so Mass Effect 3 was redeemed and won back the hearts of all the unhappy people and silenced all of the theories regarding Sheppard's indoctrination and brought about the end of the Reaper war.

Dragon Age: Origins had an amazing storyline that shadowed most of the RPG's of that time and its fame lives on even if people consider the game to be "old".
Dragon Age 2 was action oriented and set the scene for the begining of the Mage - Templar war for Inquisition at the high cost of the deep story Origins had.
Dragon Age: Inquisition is set to blend the deep story of Origins and the combat action from Dragon Age 2 into one.

-What are your greatest fears regarding Inquisition?

-What kind of slip from BioWare would make everything come crashing down for you as a player?

I have full confidence that BioWare will deliver an amazing game with no great flaws or things that can be fixed in time. My only fear about Inquisition is for the game to be pushed back on its release date since I'm already anxious.

I remember we had a similar thread like this before haha

I actually happen to trust BioWare in making a game I will enjoy.

If anything I worry that the only same-sex romances are going to be twinks or elves (same thing?) again. I want some macho men in my virtual realities pls kthnxbi

That's a strange fear.

I only fear it won't emotionally impact me and/or have characters that I find intriguing.

Too much "fanservice": i.e. too many cameos, focus on romances instead of relationships, too much private jokes ("enchantment, calibrations", etc.).
I'm confident anyway.

I "fear" that they're going to acquiesce to the constant requests for fan-service.

Well, what Cheylus said.

Right now, my greatest fear is that DAI will go the way of ME3 and by this I mean present traditionalist morality as the correct choice; remove moral ambiguity from the equation on topics such as the Normals vs Mages issue; have the Templars become all Red Templars which is to say, irredemeably evil that are there only because the game needs to have enemies; and do not allow players to pick their favored side regardless of how umpopular it may be amongst the fanbase.

I think the above is a little overstated, but...

That there will be a metric ton of DLC. I'll probably wait for the GotY/Ultimate/Complete edition if that's the case.

Overall I've been pretty pleased with BioWare's games. DA2 was the game I liked the least, but I finished it, so even though I'll likely never play through it again, I guess I still was engaged enough to complete it. As far as what they can do to make everything come crashing down... I honestly don't think there's anything they'll do to have that occur in my eyes (at least not to that extreme). But I do believe that no matter what they do there are going to be complaints and people posting on the forums that they'll never buy another BioWare product. Seems to happen with every release now, so I figure it's an inevitability.

I figure they'll deliver a solid product, and if it's delayed I won't mind - as long as it's to polish the product.

it will be less than 40 hours of content on ths disc that is unlocked and anything else will be supposed dlc. that only requires a activation code to be bought at half retail price of the game.

That the game will be painfully railroaded and obvious in it's plot, that we won't actually get to see anything new in the game but just generic countryside after generic countryside, that everything we were told was a lie.

Large amounts of auto-dialogue
Terrbile cameos for the sake of cameos, particularly the Warden and/or Hawke.
Over the top flashy combat animations
Trying to cater to too many groups and becoming a jack of all trades master of none type situation

I fear that these large semi-open world environments will be still dull and lifeless as Kirkwall was.

Also that the limitations of ancient console hardware will hold back Inquisition's and FB3's true potential, in terms of graphics, AI, stuff like that.

Well my greatest fear it that i will get closed protagonist like hawke or shepard what that means?Well such protagonist is specified already for example forced to care about character (like hawke was forced to cry after leandra) or having other forced personality traits like loyalty i completly hate when i play as chaotic character and then game without asking forces my character to knee before someone like they did in awakening. That is also paragon/renegade and hawke three personalities i don't want three variations of protaonist but rather create own with more response that stupid agressive , naive and loving or just throwing stupid jokes where is calm but cold and ruthless dialogue.

Beating this game in one sitting. I don't see that happening with the possibility of being a different race back in this series. Nevertheless, it's a fear I have when purchasing new games.

That when the game comes out, a large part ot the DA:I forum will go up in flames. It always seems to happen with every new game when critics think the game wasn't what they wanted.

I'm hoping the game is awesome!

That it will have MP. And microtransactions. And day one DLC. And have combat that is more in line with Dynasty Warriors than DA:O.

So... basically all things a betting man would say we're already getting.

I don't think there's anything that would ultimately stop me getting the game.
I'd be upset if there was a forced multiplayer component though...

Right now, since it was confirmed that the voice of the Inquisitor heard in the demo was not a stand-in and was the actual voice... and because it was so toneless, and because we were told "personalities" would be disappearing (no more "sarcastic tone" throughout in cut scenes, for example)... my biggest fear is that my Inquisitor will be a shell of a man/woman with no personality, or rather, with a personality I have to invent in my head, a la the Warden, or Skyrim, or traditional RPGs. Hawke spoiled me :(
