Getting raped by an angsty homosexual mage?...

Ending in a way that completely tears the fan base apart and turns people bitter. Like what happened with ME

My greatest fears:

(1) Thematic messages I hate attached to my (so far) favorite characters from earlier games or my protagonist with no way to avoid that attachment by making certain decisions, and/or the story telling me things are evil while I don't believe they are, and giving me no option to follow that up in decisions.

And...well...that's pretty much it. There are quite a few more things that would annoy me, some of them I'd even post rants about if they came true, but of everything I consider even remotely likely, only this has the potential to ruin things completely for me. Two of the things in ME3 I felt like a betrayal were of this kind.

Some would say DA2 did this already, just to a lesser degree. But I share your sentiment.

The DA2 ending didn't recieve quite as much hate considering how much people thought DA2 as a whole sucked more than just the ending.

Hmm... seems to me like this particular train already left its station awhile ago.

True. The ending, itself, did not. But the release, as a whole, could be said to have.

I didn't mind DA2 Sure it could have been better but for me the characters saved it for me.

I guess you mean no multiplayer either since if DA has multiplyer, it's sure to have microtransactions.

Fear? As in an honest to goodness fear? That it will be unplayable then format my hard drive if I try to uninstall it. Y'know, like Pools of Radiance was out the gate.

Anything else might qualify as a disappointment at best. Certainly nothing I would feel fear over.

Templar Cerberus
We must all merge with the darkspawn to keep from being killed by the darkspawn
All morally high horse choices are the best choices.
You can save EVERYONE
Forced to play MP just to have scenes I want.

Oh great, not liking the idea of an Inquisitor with no personality.

Really though, the Inquisitor being Hawke 2.0 is probably my greatest fear. A character that feels completely defined and just happens to sort of listen to what I say.

I like to think that if you work hard enogh ad go the extra mile the option of saving everyone in a situation should be open.

Not if BW wants their big hole in the sky to be taken seriously, much less their trailer. Loses should be expected no matter how hard you try.

An linear game with nothing to explore and a playtime of less than 30h. Such games tend to become stale after one playthrough.

I'm afraid that the dialogue/dialogue choices and companion interactions will be severely "streamlined" to appeal to an audience that doesn't like "story games" like ME3 was.
