Good point from Maria actually. I hope DA:I is amazing and BSN gives kudos to Bioware for making an amazing game with the least amount of narrative inconsitencies since ME1 and DA:O... Oh yeah, In my dreams. I should armor up my laptop for launch and prepare for battle.metatheurgist wrote...

I enjoy the forums, I enjoy the community. But sometimes coming to the forums is like attempting to swipe honey from a swarm of angry bees. It might be worth it, but you will suffer.

Leave for at least a month after playing DAI, consider it a holiday from BSN sponsored by the Inquisition.

EXCEPT
"I can smell/taste your fear!"
Demons used that line a f***ton of times in DAO, and I hear it enough times already from everywhere else. It's like every single game wants the enemies to say it at least once. Stop telling me I'm supposed to be afraid, especially if you are going to use the most ANNOYINGLY CLICHÉD lines one could ever write!

What is it you don't understand? He's saying he doesn't want DA:I to "appeal to an audience who doesn't like story-games like ME3 did", hereby he implies ME3 catered to gamers who weren't as interested in storytelling because ME3 had streamlined a lot of its "story mechanics" to be more action-focused, thus focusing more on bringing in players who play the game for the combat and setpiece hollywood garbage alone. I know a lot of people who thought ME2 had too much small-talk and they wanted it to be more like CoD or Gears. They gave not a **** about the story.Ieldra2 wrote...
Then why are you saying you're afraid DAI will appeal to an audience that *doesn't* like ME3? You are of that group who doesn't like the way ME3 did things, and you want DAI to appeal to you, right?Nefla wrote...

What was it in DAO's and DA2's companion and general dialogue you didn't like?Nefla wrote...
I'm afraid that the dialogue/dialogue choices and companion interactions will be severely "streamlined" to appeal to an audience that doesn't like "story games" like ME3 was.
Also, as I see it, both DAO and DA2 were as story-focused as ME3. They just weren't as blatant in their characterization preferences for the protagonist - you could almost say there weren't any at all - and the writers didn't sacrifice world and character integrity in order to hammer their sacrifice theme home. I'd say both games told their stories better than ME3 in the end.
You misunderstand me, ME3 is what I DON'T want. I love the characters and interactions in DA:O and even DA2 was leagues better in that aspect than ME3.
He doesn't want DA:I to be all about combat and cutscenes instead of combat and interactive dialogue.
Sorry for doublepost. <_<

That when the game comes out, a large part ot the DA:I forum will go up in flames. It always seems to happen with every new game when critics think the game wasn't what they wanted.
Always the best part of a bioware release. The venom on this site is potent and strong.
I hope they don't do anything with the (MY) warden.

I can't think of much that would totally ruin the game for me, though... DA2's quest with Hawke's mom is kind of hard to top.

The demo shows you have the ability to change companions armor, so no worries=]Dabrikishaw wrote...
My greatest fear will be an inability to change my companions armor. By FAR the most annoying thing about ][ for me.
my fear is that DAI will have too much autodialogue and that factions like the templars or mages will just suddenly become irredeemably evil and you MUST oppose them, i'd prefer both sides be viable choices to support..

The "evil dude " players who want to commit genocide, kill all the dalish, whatever find out there are consequences for doing it and come in here raising hell over having those consequences . So there's a flamewar over that too.
Warden and hawke , their fans are unhappy with the fate BIOWARE CHOSE FOR THEM, believing the fans should have been allowed to decide this.
Microtransactions, Multiplayer affecting single player like the ME war assets stuff.

1) Flemeth as a must-kill boss
2) Merrill's death
3) Since I've got a feeling, that the Inqusition's villain will be a super-epic manipulative sneaky type, i'm afraid of not epic enough "shell" for him. I mean soundtrack, dialogue, not bright enough character. Both Urthemiel and Meredith were not really evil - they were preys of some greater darkness, but this time i feel like it's going to be pure, cunning evil, and i hope it to be impressive. As an example, I really like Fable's Jack of Blades

This, and the fact that they might be overextending on the game, which is a legitemate fear id say.
Basically, too much content which starts to bog the game down further.
