My only real "fear" is not being able to decide for myself about moral issues.
For example, being forced by the game as a pragmatic-non-evil-blood-mage, to side with slaver scum, because everyone else is too narrow-minded to differentiate between a tool and the purposes that some as*holes use it for.

Ditto.

I don't think there's anything that would ultimately stop me getting the game.
I'd be upset if there was a forced multiplayer component though...

this.  MP is pretty much the only thing that would turn me off, based on what we've been shown thus far.

I don't think the game will host a multiplauer of any sort. The game itself might not allow that and this isn't exactly something like... God of War Ascention or Dark Souls for example.
If there were a multiplayer option you would have this mass of Inquisitors clash againts eachother or in teams againts certain opponents; something like that Mass Effect 3 thing that didn't quite got to some people.
But on the whole I do hope that multiplayer will not be available for Inquisition. Maybe something like an Online feature to share achievements and other stuff, but that would also be pointless.

I fear... well, and I'm 99% sure DA:I will not make it to my top 5. Too many excess things (like side quests or DA Keep) in cost of worse main plot, obviously. Time limits are time limits... No one will give BioWare more time for development than they already have.

Creating tons of side quests will not make the world alive, but will make it a boring farm ground, like a MMO.
Caring about past events too much beyond few most important ones in cost of less time spent for the new game's main plot will never make the game great.

Not to be rude or anything but by judging your channel and top lists I'm a little skeptical about you actualy playing games at all.

1) Beyond two Souls - Heavy Rain is its better
2) Remember Me - so-so, not horrible but its one way to kill too much time doesnt deserve 2nd place
3) The Last of Us - the most amazing story line with well written characters deserves number 1
4) Mass Effect Triology should have been higher
5) DeusEx Human Revolution - only smart pick you made

I like my top 5 as it is.
Make your own top 5 list, please :)

I have confidence in them to do right by most fans, but just cause i haven't seen anything to prove otherwise I'm terrified of this game being like ME3 with auto-dialogue!

I was just barely able to accept it in ME3 cause I had two games already to define my Shepard. But if they decide to do it in a game where I'm making up a brand new character, I just don't think I'll be able to enjoy myself...

I feel like they won't cause they must know how despised it is! But again, until I see otherwise I'm bracing myself for the worst...

wrong Morgan . Of course DAI will have MP , coplay, or some kind of online to make EA money. I think it will be multiplayer, Bioware is hiding it /won't disclose it until the single player is finished. Frank Gibeau EAVP said months ago he wouldn't approve a new game without MP and of course he had to approve DAI. shrugs.

There's a youtube video where the author says Heavy Rain is better than Beyond Two Souls, so I can say that in Morgan's defense.

The greatest fear I have is a repetition of ME3 in the form of another setting (Inquisition's). I don't want to HAVE to head-canon the fate of my protagonist, of my friends, of Thedas, of Ferelden, of Orlais... I want a story to be TOLD (story-telling rings a bell?), not a story to be GUESSED by wild "self-satisfying" interpretations. I want things to be clear when the credits roll, I want to understand what just happened. I want to know at least the basics as to which character(s) ended up going where and maybe why. I want to know the status of the continent, the war if it's not "over yet", I want to KNOW stuff. I'm tired of head-canon by force, not by choice. I'm tired of speculation. I seek canon information and I don't want said canon info to be delivered incrementally on Twitter one year after the game's release.

Greatest Fear?
Too many fans all wanting Bioware games catered to their tastes, leading to too many protests about this and that when DAI is released, and that is the end of the series.
Bioware says enough of offering choice and variety. No one is happy - so why bother.
So too many uncompromising fans is my greatest fear.

(I loved each one of the DA and ME games. Each different - each played on own merit)

1.Those stalker fetch side quests from mass effect 3.
2.One unnamed character who dies early on but always haunts the inquisitor in dreams even with deaths of more developed characters.
3. Most of the enemies being evil or irreversible crazy rather than having their own reasons to being against you.

My most significant fear is an ultimately unsatisfactory role-playing experience, due primarily to the inability of me to have enough creative input and control over the player character.

Probably repeating myself, but Autodialogue or nerfed amount of dialogue options in comparison to DA2. More meaningful choices is good, but I care most about being able to shape my character through deciding his choice of words for as much of his conversations as possible.

- crappy story
- crappy characters
- repetitive, shallow gameplay
- useless, insignificant choices

overall, DA 2 all over again = my worst nightmare.

I will have to admit after just living through an "X:Rebirth" nightmare. I guess I fear having low expectations and the game still not living up to them. Bioware has never done this to me yet, but after 1000s of hours in the X games, I didn't believe Egosoft would do that to me either. I was wrong.

That is easy to get around, although as recent BioWare games have proven, it is not easy to get around in a logical manner from the perspective of the character.

PC = workstation.
Console = playstation.
Specialization = the catalyst of the progress.

Games shouldn't be optimized for PCs, they should be optimized for consoles. And PCs should be optimized for working.
