I decided to play nwn2 again, using the platinium edition on steam.
And I encounter a problem.
Some enemies won't just lose life. I don't know why. I tried relaunching the game, reloading saves, restarting from start, I even tried to use one hit kill trainer and nothing worked so far.
I tried to use the mod testing tool but I couldn't find how to use it in the campaign.
It's not blocking my game until I got the Elanee encounter where 5 on 7 enemies won't simply lose life.
What can I do ?

That can happen sometimes when enemies turn hostile after a cutscene. They still seem to be in immortal cutscene mode even after the conversation ends.
I once encountered an immortal orc near the pass where you use the blast globes to clear some rocks. He was annoying, but not game-breaking. Provided you don't have to kill them to advance the plot, you can always ignore them and try to leave the area.

Usually that happens because everything in the scene has god_mode turned on during a convo but something fails to reverse it when the convo ends. You could try pausing, selecting the immortal creature and use debug mode to set their god_mode flag to 0. If it works for one then you'd have to go through the annoying job of doing everyone.

yeh. Dann's onto something, it's prolly the Plot flagmetatheurgist wrote...

unfortunately it's not an easy fix (you'd think they'd have it as a standard console command, but i don't see it; and the 'ga_setplotflag' script doesn't seem to accept playerCurrentTarget but rather needs tags, or defined constants)
There is an insta-kill script or two floating around on the boards here, but it don't make the problem go away....

If you can drop them to 1HP but no further, then it might be the 'Immortal' flag. If you can't hurt them at all, it might be the 'Plot' flag.

Well, I didn't wait for an answer and deleted everything: steam folder, user setttings folder.
I redownloaded it and started a new game and didn't encounter the problem anymore.
But I should have tried the god mode solution, now I'm just afraid to load my old save and break the game again
Thanks for your answers, I hope it will help people.
