 Has anyone read it?

My impressions were very positive. Might be the best Fundation issue yet. The writing was solid, albeit predictable. And the art was a improvement over the previous books. You might one to give it a try.

Some comments about the plot;

- More Cerberus, yes, but now they belong there since this is a story with Miranda and Jacob.

- They are looking for Shepard's body in a planet in the Terminus System, although Miranda thinks the body might already be off-world. I was trying to remember, do we know from where Shepard's body came before Omega? Before saying they are retconning anything, I'm wonderign if there was a possibility the commander's corpse made a stop in other planets before arriving at Aria's station.

- It was interesting too see Leng and Brooks were in the dark about what was happening. I don't think they even know Miranda exists, which is fine by me. Miranda is Cerberus top (and maybe oldest) operative , they shouldn't mess around that.

- I enjoyed how the fights in this comics didn't overuse biotics. Actually, neither Miranda nor Jacob used them at all (except in the end maybe). A lot of ME comics have characters using biotics like they were DBZ characters, it doesn't look right to me. I prefer when they use good old fighting skills and guns.

- Miranda and Jacob were cool together. More or less what you expect from them. Which might be the greatest thing ever to happen to this characters since ME2.

 One thing I don't understand is, if you have played ME Galaxy or read about it Jacob clearly is meeting Miranda for the first time and to me, I may be wrong but it seems Galaxy happens way after Foundation seeing that the citadel isn't damaged so the geth attack hasn't happened yet or it has already been repaired so I was a little confused on the timeline

ME Galaxy happened after Eden Prime.  I'm not sure if it happened after the battle of the CItadel.

I read it. It's very, very good, though it really doesn't establish anything new about Miranda or Jacob, it's especially great to see how good Miranda looks in the comic. She's back, being her badass super-spy self again, and the art (even with the annoying ass shots) is fantastic. The plot is kind of aimless, but it does end on a cliffhanger that has me slightly worried. Was she captured by Batarians? Did she stage the explosion herself? I'm anxious to see the next comic.

Altogether though, I'd say this is the best Foundation comic thus released (and possibly the single best comic released for ME, though I'll also say that that really isn't saying a whole lot.)

My complaints are that it doesn't create anything that we haven't already seen before. There's nothing new here. It does no harm (especially in comparison to the other comics), but it really adds nothing either.

I don't think it does because Jacob was on Eden Prime when it was attacked, subsequently becoming disillusioned with the Alliance and quitting. Supposedly, Galaxy takes place a short while after that, i.e. between the start and end of ME1.

From what I've seen of their meeting in the comic ("The last time I saw you, you were celebrating") I 'm assuming he was left alone for a bit after Galaxy. While I haven't played the game, it would seem that it was never stated that Jacob was working for Cerberus, seeing as Miranda was simply his handler, referred by his former CO, a active Alliance officer. To hazard a guess, Jacob was given a 'soft sell' approach with regards to Cerberus.

I'd agree that some of the details don't quite match up though. Unless Jacob rejoined the Alliance briefly after Galaxy. Of course, it could just be typical bad comic dialogue where everything has to be stated outloud so readers can follow what's going on ("You want me to work for Cerberus? Your organization's tactics have been known to be a little extreme...") It means assuming that, in the meantime, he confirmed suspicions that Miranda was Cerberus (or always knew but went along with it anyway?)

Seems odd that he wasn't just...jobless and directionless, making it easier to accept the mission, but then perhaps that would make it too much liked James' comic where he's also disillusioned and in need of motivation.
