Ok, so, as i found out, there is a LOT of contradicting information, and it confuses me how all this can get so complicated so quickly. Otherwise, i wouldnt even BE posting right now.
So, i heard that you can raise your Galactic readiness, the % thing, in singleplayer, but i have played at least half th game, no raising of the galactic readiness percent for any system whatsoever. THEN i heard that you can't, and what you can only do in SP is play the campaign, and raise your WAR assets to increase TMS and EMS, the EMS being the ESSENTIAL component for the 'best' ending.
SO my first question is simple. Is there absolutely no way to raise galactic readiness in SP? if not, then what in the fudge am i msising that can bring my EMS up to the 'best' ending EMS amount, because i keep hearing there is no way to get the 'best' ending in your SP campaign.
Second question. As i have gold membership on my xbox aco****, i CAN play Mp, have been, lovin it alot actually, may be brand new and newborn for the MP, but i've leared how to stay alive for more than five rounds versing collectors on gold. But my gold is going to run out at SOME point, and i would rather not have to deal with galactic readiness throwing a wrench in my ending.
So here is my question about multiplayer, if i have a SILVEr account, which means i still have online connection just not able to play with other people in a game, can i play MP by myself? Or, since i dont have gold, i can;t even start a private match by myself due to not having gold.
Please answer, so i can make sure what i need to do here....

You can't in single player unless you click on the "Prepare for the Retaliation at the N7 HQ" link to the left of this message. Then on that site there is a place that helps you raise it by 1-3 percent every 1-5 hours. Or there is the Mass Effect Infiltrator app on ios and android.
However, if you do enough of the side and fetch missions in the single player, you won't even have to worry about GR, as you can still get the highest EMS endings (assuming you have te Extended Cut).
With XBL Silver, you can use N7 HQ and Infiltrator, you just can't do the multiplayer (which by the way is the quickest and most fun imo way to get 100%)

Where on that site can i raise it? and i have an android powred smartphone, but no infiltrator app for the google store. thus why i am here.
and i have the Extended cut DLC, it was free so why not right? but i alays heard youd be short a few hundred EMS points by the end with ONLY SP
and i WANNA do multiplayer, but i wouldnt be able to all the time. money constraints prevent me from having gold all the time, i can get 3 month bursts and maybe lucky enough to add before it ends usually but nothing huge. Thus why i asked.

One way you can ensure all possible "positive" ending choices upon beating the game is to download the Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut DLC which is free for download until April, 2014. In the original vanilla version of Mass Effect 3 you need at least 4,000 points in Effective Military Strength to access all possible endings which is impossible to achieve in the vanilla game without raising your Galactic Readiness percentage. The most you can achieve without any DLC assistance is 3,750.
Mass Effect 3: Extended Cut lowers the necessary 4,000 Effective Military Strength to 3,100 which is very possible to achieve with the Single Player campaign alone without Galactic Readiness assistance. Another way to better access all possible endings in single player alone is to download the other available Mass Effect 3 single player DLCs. From Ashes gives you a total of 100. Leviathan provides 620. Omega has 405 to give. Citadel can give you an extra 70.
I hope this was helpful for you.

you get a raise of 2.8 for a one hour mission. 2.98 for a three hour mission and 3.17 for a five hour mission.
So if you want to raise the Readiness quickly, and don't mind checking back often, go for the one hour missions.
You can get all the endings with the Extended Cut DLC but you'll still need to get to 100% Galactic Readiness in order to get the Defender achievement.
