Well, title says it all, What are you guys' opinions of the most underrated/overrated//best character in me3mp?

+1 , I see so many people use the drell adept , but i'm ashamed to say I haven't tried him once, might try him later on today though

Under-rated: Turian Saboteur (I know some people appreciate him but overall he is quite underrated)
Over-rated: QFE (controversial, I know) - she is a good character and I enjoy playing her but people on BSN definitely over-rate her!
Best character: Drell vanguard, SI, Drell adept (my opinion only since I don't care for GI )
Fav. character: Drell adept, hands down

Highly contentious and subjective topic up for discussion here. I'm not sure which characters I would consider the most underrated and overrated. Overrated implies that a character doesn't live up to his (or her) reputation, but to me it seems like the most hyped up characters (GI, talon, geth trooper, etc) certainly live up to their reputation, so they're not overrated.

I've said this before - there are no bad/weak characters in this game. The very best players can make any character shine, even on platinum.

Favourite character: I would probably go for the GI. I only started to use him properly in the last couple of months after seeing all the hype about him on here. I should also mention the krogan vanguard here, he takes all the challenge out of the game, and for that I really like playing him.

Geth Trooper is not overrated ... don't think it's possible to rate him high enough - one of the ultimate ROFLstompers

I only see BSNers playing the GE .. most of the player base doesn't know how good he is

And on BSN, I think the Vorcha Soldier is too often dismissed .. while many don't like the flamer, he is still a very powerful kit .. the one I used to transition to Gold regularly last year. Yes, I know the Vorcha Sentinel is awesome, but the soldier is good too ...

My favorite kits are the GT, GI and Valkryie

SF goes through walls, primes everything and deals double damage with its cryosplosions. It is a very powerful, very spammable power especially with any kind of detonating teammate (GE, vanguards etc). I think the kit is quite boring:innocent: and too powerful.

No, he is not. He has flamer (boosted by fortification and HM) that melts stuff even on Plat, good passives, weapon damage boost (HM), good survivability (fortification and good base shields). One of the most well-rounded kits, if not OP.

You can play him with a flamer build or a weapon focused build or even a hybrid. He shines in all the three cases!

Maybe i'm using Overrated in the wrong way, it's better to term him as overused.

He's decent.

Geth Trooper may be overused, but he's certainly not overrated.

He is one of the most damage resistant kits in the game; other kits which have that much shield or barrier can't dodge, but he can.

He also has one of the most powerful spammable AOE attacks in the game

And neither of those points mention hunter mode, which is widely considered one of the top powers in the game (for reasons which have been covered on BSN over and over)

Most under rated: I agree about the turian saboteur. I like my krysae on him. It goes well with Sabotage
Most over rated: AIU/TGI/GI
Best character: Salarian infiltrator. Good damage, good survivability (energy drain/cloack), crowd control (proximity mine) etc. My other choice is the Turian sentinel. Too bad he can't dodge, but that would have made him too good.

I definitely agree with you on the underrated side, but on the overrated, the juggernaut? Noooooo, Every team can benefit from a Geth Juggernaut, They can change the tide of battle. They've got a tanky kit and if you spec into siege pulse you can get small targets away quick. I don't think he belongs in the overrated section

I would just like to say I really believe the biotic god the volus adept is truly underrated ,

I remember a while back, in a game on firebase rio, we were on a pretty rough wave, phantoms kept coming like crazy and I was using my Cabal Vanguard, My buddy was using a volus adept and he really changed the tide of battle for us, everytime a phantom came, just as it was about to slash, Boom, he'd freeze it in Stasis, and i'd rain down on it and kill it in a few seconds, R&R, for almost a whole wave straight. It was unbelievable how clutch that character was.

And I know quite a few people who have videos of it on yt say it's garbage.

Overrated: None. Every kit can be monstrous in the right hands.

Underrated: Krogan Sentinel. The one without the hammer, I don't see it often enough; I know some people who play it very well but not enough for my taste. I also agree with Hooch about the AA, and also would consider the Collect adept underrated also.
