I have a great idea for the next Mass Effect Triology, and this would be in line with the ending from the 3rd game.

Upon the choice of the destruction option, and as the Catalyst has predicted, chaos shall rise again.

Therefore in order to make the new game sync, the first of the triology would be based roughly 400 years into the future, which would mean that the star gazer was correct about the stories of the shephard.

The basis for the 1st game would be that a new young species has been accepted into the Galactic Community and the Citadil, but unknown to the Citadel, this new species is developing Synthetic Constructs. And it is up to the new Specters to covertly stop them from creating a fully developed and aware AI, and fails in stopping them,and the AI are fully born and active. and thats the end of the frist Game

2nd game would revolve around the AI recieving from the Data base that the organics have wiped out syntehtics ( repers and Geth ) in the war, and are now determined to asscend the Galaxy and rid it of all organics, and it is up to the Specter team to try and stop them, they succeed in halting the vast armada but that builds up to the 3rd game. the 2nd Game has to end with an omnious and dark mood, that despite averting this war, the specters have only delayed the inevitable.

3rd game and final game, would revolve around the specters gathering the galaxy in prepartion for the all out asault by the AI forces and with both sides loosing many the main character finally breaks through to the headquarters of the AI fleet and both sides realize that this war will destroy the whole galaxy and will not allow for any species to survive and that the only way to heed choas and the message of the Catalyst is to work together instead of killing each other.

This would follow a Triolgy mentailty, where the first game ends with the build up, 2nd game ends with darkness and the final game ends with hope.

Hope? Not going to happen. We organics will outdo the AI. We will create a dark energy device that will cause the cores of all stars in the galaxy to explode simultaneously should the AI decide to attack us with the intent of wiping us out. A doomsday device. Unfortunately, synthetic spies will get plans for this device and they will build one as well. Thus, Mutually Assured Destruction will prevail and ensure peace.... except for little wars by proxy that we fight against each other just like during the Cold War. We will call it Peaceful Coexistence, and brand the synthetics goddamn commies.

What could go wrong?
