Things just seem to get from bad to worse with the Elves I hope this game lets them catch a break for once. Would be interesting if they brought back Arcane Warrior, but made it a Elf only specialization.

I originally wanted to play a qunari, but now I want to play a bitter, cynical, female elf blood mage/arcane warrior. Basically an Elven Jack(Subject Zero)

Elves try to go to war against humans in a large rebellion only to lose and face worse prejudice than before.

I hope Arlathvhen (gathering of the clans?) is happening and the Dalish clans convene. We're near the Dales and we're definitely going to Halamshiral, so it is likely.

With the world in chaos, the Chantry weakened, the Templars distracted, and mages desperate it is likely that the Dalish would seize this chance to take back the Dales from Orlais.

Nope, the Inquisitor will be forced to slaughter all elves in order to save humanity.

As far as the Dalish go, I don't see any other outcome. Their numbers are far too few, and elves are the frailest race in Thedas. The only way they could have any chance of claiming a home for themselves is if the Inquisitor and the entirety of the Inquisition helps them directly.

Or they and the city elves could sell their souls to the Qun and lose their culture in the process.

I just hope my elf Inquisitor gets to murderify a bunch of humans this time. Go Scoia'tael on their arses.

There's obviously going to be a bunch of elves that are slaughterable. At least let elves have some fun this time. :S

I hope I have the option to stroll through a city elf alienage in gold plated armor while yelling at them all to get a job. Maybe smacking some beggars with a pimp-cane.

Most of the humanoid enemies in DA games have been, well...human.

Yeah, but they haven't been innocent civilians, so I can't act edgy as *** about my killing them.

I usually play psychotic vengeful elven mages on my 3rd playthrough so this is a yes for me.

You can leave the human residents of Redcliff to all die and you can sack the human city of Amaranthine in the previous games.

There are other elven threads. Not necessary to start a new one OP and no I don't expect they'll get any breaks.

People are forgetting that there's an elven rebellion on the move. Now let's say that the 1/4 of Orlais population is made from elves ( those narcissistic nobles need their slave...I mean servants).

Half of them join The Dalish and here you go. Guerrila warfare, robbing and blockades on the main supply rodes.

Orlesians might have The Chevaliers, but those men need supplies and gold to work at 100% + plus that heavy armor is not that helful when fighting in the woods, so if they don't burn The Dales they don't stand a chance against the dalish on their own grownd.

Also, I'm the only one that remembers The Night Elves ? They haunted the nightmares of the orlesian forces during their occupation of Ferelden.

It would help if not every Elf you meet was insane or stupid and a Blood Mage.

Night elves never heard of them, are they from a novel or codex entry

They're from the Stolen Throne. Loghain's little band of archer elves.

Probably the reason he seems to have respect for a Dalish Warden in DA:O.

I believe they're a unit Loghain led during the Orlesian Civil war.

Elves are much fewer in number than humans. And not as well equipped or trained. They can't sustain casualties in a war with humans. The Dalish would likely be reluctant to start a costly war they might not win and might destroy them if they lose. Also elves rebelling against Orlais is not the same as elves helping the Fereldens rebel against the Orlesian occupation of Ferelden. Orlais isn't a foreign occupier of another nation like it was in Ferelden. City elves live in Orlais itself now. And elf rebellion would take place entirely inside the Chevaliers' own land.
