Just cast DC immediately after you cast DS to save some CD time, you can detonate DS afterwards, or don't detonate it at at all, depending on the situation.

Thanks for the new info guys. But I've pretty much settled on a build with this guy and I've improved a lot with him since I first posted this thread. Though I may try my shiny new PPR IX on him... But anyone who isn't sure about which way to go with him, feel free to check this thread out for info. 

 

Op should be "I need to L2play. Any advice?"   Then we'd be on the right track.

This. Skip ascension stance, it's basically a overly expensive on/off passive that gives you penalties to your survivability. Also, warp round, the CSMG is a mean son of gun with this guy.

I apologize for asking dumb question, but there it is:

Since I've acquired the guy yesterday, I went on to figure out how to build him (around powers mostly since I haven't found enough hardware yet), and at first glance it looked like his biotics are liquified rage on steroids. Well, if something looks too good to be true, it probably is - I've found out that "damage per second" of dark sphere is apparently not damage per second at all, that its explosion is apparently capped at affecting up to 3 targets at most etc.

So, is it still correct or something changed over last year or so? And if yes, does it mean that one really shouldn't build around sphere's DoT and explosion damage radius too much (or, for that matter, around sphere at all)?

 

Got ME3 just a few days ago, so I apologize for being thick. Thanks in advance.

Since we're necroing like there's no tomorrow I'd like to ask a question.

 

Why is it that the ACA seems to be far squishier than the health/shields levels would suggest? They should be less squishy than a Quarian or Salarian in principle, not so? But when I play the ACA, with SS for DR, and not using Ascension Stance, I seem to go down in one hit like a Drell when I would expect to stay up if I were Salarian instead.

 

Only my perception? Is that damn fat head too big a target for the enemies to miss? Or is it something else.
