Cannot decide whether to start over another campain with my level 55 to get to 60 or wait. Some opinions would be nice.

I'm in a predicament. I cannot decide if it will be worth it to start another campain to get my level 55 Soldier to 60, so I can transfer him over to Mass Effect 2. One of the biggest problems with this is, I don't remember the decisions I made on my level 55 play through and I'm a little nervous If I just made stupid actions that it would mess up the story line of my character for ME2. Basically, all I am asking is should I rush through another playthrough with my 55 and hopefuly get to 60, before ME2 come out? Or just stick with the possibly awful decisions I made already on my 55 character and transfer him to ME2? I also have my first playthrough, wich I knew I made the choices I wanted but its only level 44. So yeah. Theres my little problem. Any opinions or suggestions would be great.

yes rush through... its is my understanding that every time you play through it makes a save... For example... my level 60 adept has 6 game saves on it. Some with evil choices, some with good choices, some neutral, etc. I can upload any of those.

So basically, I can pick a thourough playthrough to import for a good play and then go back and redo with my level 60 to see exactly what the game "acknowledges"

I'm pretty sure if you are a 55 and you rush through without doing the side missions, you won't reach level 60.

Thats what I figured. Its not all about the level for me. Its more about the storyline. But the fact that the only playthrough I know I approved of was my first but its only 44..

I'm too lazy and have to much university work to do every side mission and stuff with some of my level 50's so my first play through is just going to be with one of them. So if you have the time then do it otherwise i don't think its going to make that big a difference, the IGN crew show themselves importing a level 48 and a level 36 so yeah.....

The only bonus you get from important a level 60 is more Xp and recources. I say it isn't worth it, unless you can do your perfect playthrought in 6/9 days. Its best not to rush.

I'd recommend against rushing through since it could mess up some choices you might want if you avoid certain sidequests. If you don't have anything better to do, you're not burned out on Mass Effect and you want to be sure to have certain choices, I'd suggest replaying Mass Effect on Casual over the weekend.

I know about that it saves your playthroughs, thats why Im having this tough decision to make. I have two saved playthroughs. Level 44 and 55. My 44 is the choices I know I approve of and the 55 is a little sketchy.

Hi Jawa Bane,

Just fyi, if you have a save that is towards the end of the game on your character, you can find out almost every major decision you made.  Just go into the journal and check your completed quests.  It tells you how you chose to resolve them.  Even little things like how you treated Conrad are in there.

I've got a question. I've completed Noveria, Therum, Bring Down The Sky, and only a couple sidequests, and I'm at the start of level 58. I've got the 15% extra experience from achievement, but I see there's a massive amount of xp to go in order to get to lvl. 59. Will I be able to get to 60 doing the story and sidequests, and also Pinnacle Station?

I just hit level 60 last night, and I have yet to complete Feros and Virmire, let alone the side missions that come up after the main missions are completed. I'm not going to rush per-se but I sure will be putting in time within the week!

Bergey's right. I doubt you'll make level 60 if you rush through. You've got a long way to go, Jawa.

The question to ask yourself is do you want the LEVEL BONUSES or the CHOICES you made? What's important to you? If it's the choices just use that first game. If it's the level bonuses, play through again doing the story EXACTLY how you want it to be. You'll have the best of both worlds- but you'll have to do EVERY optional assignment too if you hope to reach 60!

I'd say stick to the normal play-through. Rushing through isn't fun and you'll loose more then you win, since it's stated that you get bonuses for completing the collection missions and such.

Do it right an make a perfect play-through, or just let it be. With a 55-Char and a decent team, you should be able to complete the game in about 30 hours, if you look at at the planetary maps at the wiki an go straight to the points of interest.

you will hit a 60 on a fast play through... jack up the difficulty level to insanity and kill everything on foot... expecially the goliath geth walker thingy. turrents are big xp givers too.

i would definitely hit up the side missions that were "on the way" ie: getting dudes stuff from exogeni hq and helping the colony --> cause you are already there.

I think I'm going for a good play through on my 55. I won't completely rush, but I'm not going to stop and smell the flowers either. If I don't make it to 60, or beat the story by release, It won't be so bad. Thanks for the help everybody. Sometimes I just need a little push.

I have a level 59 adept with everything except the DLC's completed. I'll wait and see if the bonus for a level 60 character is worth it or not. Or play through it once with my level 59 character and then replay ME1 (with different choices) to get a level 60 character and do my second playthrough like that.

Well last time I played Pinnacle Station I got around 15,000 to 20,000 Xp .... so to be honest its kinda hard to get to lvl 60 in your current play through , but who knows maybe you will pull it off ..... you still need to kill everything on foot , etc.

Well, I do kill everything on foot. And I'm very thorough at exploring and sidequests... I've played this playthrough in hardcore so far, maybe if I raise it to Insanity until the end of the playthrough...
