Small update....

I just re-read the e-mail (because still can't belive it) and apperently I missed small thing...

CE is delayed in ALL scandinavian countries due to error in production.

Here is a full e-mail ( for those who can read swedish or not lazy as me to translate it)

Vi har tyvärr fått besked från den svenska distributören att släppdatumet för samtliga återförsäljare i Norden har flyttats fram till vecka 5, detta på grund av fel som uppstått under produktion. Leverantören har ännu inte kunnat bekräfta det nya datumet, men det blir troligtvis den 2:a eller 4:e februari. Vi vill dock göra dig uppmärksam på att denna försening inte påverkar släppet av standardutgåvan, som fortfarande ligger kvar på den 28:e januari.

This makes me very happy that I never buy the CE. Now if I could only
bring my gaming rig along with me when I go to Åre for some sweet ass
skieing. I'm going to miss 4 days of possible gaming. I have to remind
my friends who get it that I will kill them for any spoilers.

But it is sucky news for all of you who ordered the CE. You would think these things could be avoided when it's such a big game.

Me too... I like Webhallen (buy most my games there) but sometimes they are sooo off..

Do you know that I was the one to tell them that there's going to be DAO expansion pack?

Heck, I even sent them an e-mail november 2008, that they shoud update the DAO pictures on their site... They had the very very old pictures from the day of announcement of DAO, when BioWare was showing it off with NWN engine-made pictures.

I got a similar mail from GAME.se. I'm a bit confused though, as it says that EA moved the CE release date forward to February 2nd in the Nordic countries, but also that they were getting the CE on January 28th and were hoping to have it delivered the next day. strange

A good thing Belgium gets the comic in digital form then. I just heard today that GameMania (Dutch chain) might even release both the SE and the CE a day early, on the 27th.



Still, if it got delayed here I'd probably just wait for the CE instead of get the SE and do a ME1 playthrough to kill the time.

Romania delayed too...the CE edition only..for 5 february..after dragon age now mass effect..at least mass effect will come earlier the DA did

hm think I will change my CE edition to regular (I really don't feel for waiting anymore)

edit: so its done going to miss that extra weapon, armor and artbook, but ye guess im saving some money aswell

I pre-ordered the CE from a Finnish store (tilt.fi) and they still have 28th of January as the release day. I also haven't received any e-mail from them... But somehow I have a feeling that if it's delayed in Sweden, it's also gonna be delayed in Finland.

Hopefully not in Norway too.... but what I saw on komplett.no didnt ease my paranoia, the PC CE of ME 2 were gone from the list! I hope thats because they didnt had any left in stock.

Of course, I wouldn't have gotten the game until the 2nd or 3rd, but now, I have to wait until the 2nd for them to send it, then receive it on the 5th.

That's painful. But, it also gives me more time to finish my two playthroughs of ME1. If I can be bothered. If not, then it is Dragon Age.

I told them to switch my CE to Standard as soon as I got the mail. I'm impatient already, I don't want to see my friends playing it on XBL.
