Good thing i pre-ordered the Standard Edition. Though there seems to be some confusion of the release date, the store says 28th, but the trailer says 29th? In any case i'll be lucky if i get for next weekend. (Pre-ordered from www.konsolinet.fi for 5€ cheaper than Steam has it.)

Well there's a term I haven't exactly associated with Finland, though I've heard it before. Maybe because I wasn't around in the 70's? 

The e-mail I got from Verkkokauppa.com claims that the situation is the same all over Europe. If that's true, tough luck fellow CE buyers.

Puolenkuun Pelit has sent out the same style email in here in Finland. Here's the translation:

Dear customer,

The Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 2 you have ordered has problems with its distribution. The Collector's Edition won't make it to retailers in Europe in time for the release date, but instead it'll arrive approximately one week after the release date.

Our apologies for the delay. The product will be delivered as fast as possible. The standard editions of the game will arrive in time for the launch day.

SE costs less than CE (Doh...), we miss on some things but on saved money we can just by more DLC for ME2.

I live in Denmark, but pre-ordered the PC CE from the UK (Gameplay). They haven't changed the date from the 29'th, and my order status has changed from "ordered" (or something like that) to "preparing to despatch".

Well, it seems the problems in the rest of Europe doesn't necessarily affect the UK. I just got an email from Gameplay.co.uk - my PC CE has been shipped (I live in Denmark, so it will take 3 days minimum to get here, so they are not shipping too soon). With luck I will have it on the 29'th :innocent:

The PC CE is still listed on their webpage, if anyone is in the market...
