to play this series again? I've been through it 4 times. And yet, here I am actually thinking of replaying the series. Again!
I mean I know every battle and almsot every scene. I don't get it. No other game, net even Skyrim has drawn me in so much.
Why oh why am I drawn

Well for one thing you can play the entire series in the length of time it takes to go through Skyrim. Skyrim is a commitment. FONV is a commitment.
But seriously... only 4?

You're not the only one, playing differently changes the game.
All games? Idk but ME2 7 times, ME2 never gets boring.

The entire series 5. ME1 and ME2 ..... with all DLC for both you don't want to know.... okay 13. If ME3 had a better ending? 3 would have had more, and it may get more now that there is a Thane mod.
ME2 is a fun romp.
I find the dialogue in ME1 really painful. I think I've done 7 plays of ME1

I've played the entire trilogy 5 times and ME3 6 times in total. I'm kinda ashamed to say it and I never speak of it to local friends because I don't wanna come across as "geeky" :-P ^^

I've played enough times to have a ManShep and FemShep for each of the 6 classes, and done every romance. And I still keep coming back.

I beat the trilogy for the 9th time now, and I'm only counting the completionistic playthroughs. But times played the entire trilogy with all DLC on all games?

Great characters, great universe. To many people Mass Effect represents dreams and hopes of humanity, for a better future(at least without reapers) and an universe full of life and intresting things.Thats at least one thing which draws certain people.

It's like they're old friends I haven't seen in a while. A least that's the feeling I get when I last played.
What the hell.. 5th times the charm.

I haven't kept count, but I know I've gone through this series quite a few times already. The variable details in each playthrough, multiple backgrounds, LI's, etc., not to mention that I have a particular fondness for scifi universes keeps me totally hooked on this series.

I have played each game close to 30 times. My wife knows the story just as well as I do, and always rolls her eyes when I start a new game

Origin says I've logged 849 hours into ME3. Steam says I logged 318 hours into ME1, and I know that got reset once at some point. Probably somewhere in between both of those numbers for ME2. Holy crap that's a lot of hours. I hope that ME3 counter is counting the time I spend with the game minimized, so I can do stuff like post on a forum or eat dinner or watch Game of Thrones.

Glad someone touched on this.
So I am replaying the entire series from the start again after not playing ME1 for about 4-5 years.
Went to GameStop and picked up a new copy of ME1 since my loser friend lost my copy the I loaned him.
I have to say, getting use to the controls will be tricky.
What I would like to know is, should I complete ME1 multiple times before moving on to ME2? Whats the max level? Will the level directly impact into ME2 and ME3?
I remember porting over to ME2 with a lvl 59 character once some years back.
Thanks.

Importing into Mass Effect 2 at level 60 (the maximum) grants you 4,000 XP, which jumps you to level 5 right from the start, 10,000 more of each resource, and I believe 100,000 credits extra if you get the "Rich" achievement in ME1 (I got up to the max amount in my second playthrough before importing).
You can do this with just a second replay of ME1, provided you do a completionist run and gather everything you can and explore as much dialogue as possible.

I'm on my third "full" playthrough of the series, near the end (already exterminated the geth and retook Omega; only need to do a few more storyline missions then the Citadel DLC). The game I've replayed the most is ME2, which I played eight times. I've played ME1 twice and am on my fourth playthrough of ME3. But I've still sunken more hours into Fallout: New Vegas than the Mass Effect series.
