 Any word on if we get one? I really hope so...they need more elf party members,besides that female elf companion anyway.

Big fan of Elfs here,so I'd love to have a new male elf companion/ LI.

I was really disappointed that you can't play as a Male Elf and have a strait relationship with your own kind. But I'm all for a male and female Elves as companions, one Dalish and one city to keep it the balance.

Well, we've been seeing a lot of this bald dude, right behind the inquisitor



in a few bits of concept art, So he may or may not be a companion, maybe he's an emissary/ambassador to one of the countries/factions we visit, who's to say for sure other than the team and the writers working on this game?

You mean in DAO, right? Because you realise you can play as a male elf in DAI and I'm 90% confident Sera will be available as a LI.

Gaider's said that the first image is an old and somewhat outdated concept piece. I'd guess that the one below is simply a more recent design of that character.

The fact that someone who looks similar appears alongside the Inquisitor and companions in the bottom concept art implies he is a companion. In fact, he's the possible companion I'm most excited about at the moment, along with the female elf shown in the tavern concept piece.

The rumor mill says the bald elf is Dorian, a Tevinter Magister and possibly the party healer. No confirmation either way and no urge by the devs to reveal it any time soon. So who knows.

I've liked him ever since his smug look in the top concept piece amongst everyone else shouting. After Anders I want a healer that I will actually want to have in the party- and I like what I've seen of him so far. I'm crossing my fingers he keeps the smug personality the top image implies, and that I'll finally have a healer I can tolerate. I know this is all speculative and wishful thinking of course!

Agreed. I had to make my own mage in order to have a healer in my party. I never took Anders anywhere. I hope his smugness isn't intolerable. That can really wear one me after too long. I hope it's a funny sarcastic smugness!

But yeah, a male elf companion would spice up the usual human driven companion group a bit.

That's too bad. He looks better (from what I can barely see) in the first picture. Old, bald, healing tevinter elf? No thanks...

I hope if he is real, they use the first picture for his likeness. His hairstyle is pretty cool.

I for one welcome a crotchety old Elven Magister to the party as we have yet to have one as a companion.

I would too but for a romance option I couldn't do it. I'm a big elf fan too so I've romanced both Zev and Fenris. I just see him being more interesting and fun being the young smug elf. If he does turn out to be the older version, well, I just hope he won't be like Wynne.

We are definitely getting an elf companion as seen in the concept art and recent games history of at least 1 elf companion.
