Would you kill templars in DA3 if doing so stopped the creation of red templars?

So you expect Bioware to insert their novel books inside the game? Not going to happen.

AC IV; Black Flag actually had a whole scene from one of their books in the game. Was pretty cool.

Talked about how Edward met Caroline.

This is something Bioware should start doing.

If these books i have no point of ever reading are going to affect my game then thats a problem.

No templar supporter on this forum could make me cry, but you... on the other hand, could very well be the first person to make me want to cry.

I'm sorry but books and novels like the one your talking about as well as the ME ruin the games by making your choice in previous games pointless.

So you're angry that Bioware doesn't read your mind and doesn't support your own headcanon?

Know I'm angry because stuff happens in the books that will probably be canon in DAI like Wynne who someone said she dies in the book.

If Wynne is alive in your playthrough then yes she mostly likely dies by DA:I

Now you're going in circles. So you're mad that bioware made a book containing dragon age lore and it affecting the game universe. But then you're okay with bioware doing the exact thing, and having it affect the game universe?

I rather have Bioware focus all of their attention to creating an animated movies (Destiny Extended quality) base on the novels and what takes place in the book. I don't want it to be added into the game.

The chantry likes mass killing and has done them in  the past in order to force their cults views on other people as well as there propaganda about mages so i think its only right that they get whats finally coming to them.

Have you read Asunder? White Divine Justinia V is a mage sympthizer... even go as far as to assist the mages with severe repercussions of losing the Seekers and the Templars in the process. She went as far as to try to find the cure for those who undergo the Rite of tranqulity, and had a Mage assist her in the research.

I don't read those books so as far as I'm concerned if it didn't happen in the game then i don't really care.

Uh..... what? The novels are full of lore and actual events. How can you NOT be concern at what happens in the story?

Dragon age isn't all about the Warden or the champion of Kirkwall you know.

The only Dragon Age related stuff i care about is the games they should just put lore based stuff there.

Or you could take a trip to the DA Wiki and look it up yourself.

Or they could just start writing books that take place in a different timeline from the one we are in like whatever timeline Tevinter went to war with the dalish or one based on the aftermath of the first blight.

We are just going to have to agree to disagree since i don't care about the novels or animated stuff and my main focus will only be what i have seen in the games and nothing more.

Because the current timeline should be only for the games so that those books can't interfer with stuff like the ME ones do.

Then prepared to be extremely disappointed, because those events are going to be part of the game and the books do is take place before and/or in-between the games anyway

The books are pretty much glimpses into the plot writting process for the games. They're what the creators would probably implement regardless of publishing it or not.

If anything it's a chance to give players and fans a heads up on what's happening since they've finished their previous games journies.

Same way Dragon Age: The Calling foreshadowed the archetiect in the awakening expansion games.

That is such a shame, really. You're going to miss so much with this kind of attitude. Oh well

I've learned so much about Loghainin the Stolen Throne novel that was not in DAO.. I once hated the man (before I started reading the book) to now understand where he's coming from, and why he did what he did. You're only cheating yourself out of wealth of knowledge from the Dragon age series.

I'll say it again, then, since you either missed or ignored it the first time:

You claim the Chantry has been involved in mass killings, yet you want to do the same to them. What makes you any better?

If the if the hints/rumors of their importance to the plot are true, they will be a major enemy mook faction in DA3. I have no idea how or why the red templar army is created, but, assuming it would make a worthwhile difference, if your inquisitor could stop the creation, or the potential creation, of more red templars by killing regular templars encountered, or has the opportunity to neutralize the entire order with the same goal in mind, would s/he do it?

The Templar and Seeker Orders MUST be destroyed as Orlais Chantry Circle

the original Cirlce's were created by Tevinters as places for science, keeping knoledges and to study mages and no more..

..after some centuries Orlais was formed with their Orlais Chantry who after 2 blight create their Chantry Сircles with Templars and Seekers...

and when Chantry hunt and imprison mages in this concentration camps-Circles, deprived them of all rights, freedoms and property, promote them as Thedas curse...they destroyed most of the knowledges and chantry mages have the worst magic education(only Qunari and Darkspawn have worst) and they risking their lives in harrowing

Templars have "holy rights" to kill mages just because they mages....mages in Chantry Cirlces are oppressed, beaten, raped and if some forget mages as slaves work for Chantry and Templars and brings them a lot of money and only mages can create Lythany of Anralla, philacterys and do other stuff

so people then you see abominations and crazy blood mages remember who the source of them in 95%...this is Orlais Chantry and their Templars

Those peoples who serve in Templar/Seeker order and many of the Orlais Chantry must be executed and inprison according to their crimes, others will be disbanded as Templars and will not get their Templars rights and lyrium....those who will resist would be executed with Red Templars

property, lyrium and forts of the Templar/Seeker Order will be confiscated as most of Orlais Chantry propertys

Well if that does happen hopefully a person in game will go into good length about what happened instead of something like "sorry commander i just don't want to talk about it" in which the actual translation is "If you want to know more about me go buy my comic book and watch my animated movie despite the fact that i could just tell you since i'm standing right here"

It's only "coming to them" if you decide to do the same thing they're doing. Why not take the high road?

And continue to let their cult spread and hurt more people with their mage propaganda and words twisted from some long dead woman in order to fit the picture of their non-existent deity they worship? nope.

1st. The Chantry is, by definition, not a cult.
2nd. Mage propaganda? Please do provide this. Last I recall, they refer to magic as a "gift and a curse."
3rd. Provide proof that the Maker does NOT exist.
4th. I do hope you're not an atheist. Would make the rest of us look bad.

Why is it your business whether people believe them or not? If they're actively hurting people, stop that. But don't become a totalitarian dictator just because YOU think people should agree with you.

1. They seem like a cult to me with their worpship of a god who doesn't exist and trying to get others to do the same and getting angry when you don't

2. every single word that comes out of the chantrys mouth  is a lie (except blood magic which is only evil if the person using it is evil) and they think all of their opinons is fact.

3. provide proof the maker DOES exist

4. I am and will mock any religion based on a god no one can prove exist any chance i get

I don't want to become a dictator lol i just want to get rid of Thedas 1st main problem and that's religion and the chantry itself. Once religion is gone and cult feeding people lies is also gone Thedas will get better and people will for once think and do things for themselves and not let the opinion of a religious cult tell them who to like and not like or who to worship and not worship.
