Would you kill templars in DA3 if doing so stopped the creation of red templars?

It's only "coming to them" if you decide to do the same thing they're doing. Why not take the high road?

And continue to let their cult spread and hurt more people with their mage propaganda and words twisted from some long dead woman in order to fit the picture of their non-existent deity they worship? nope.

The chantry isn't a cult do you see them drinking the arsenic kool aid, Chantry hasn't said any mage propaganda, they don't shout  off the rooftops that mages are hellspawn.Your bias is showing

Okaaaay friend let's just back up a bit and try this again. Could you please provide some examples of this anti mage propaganda? Also, like someone already said, the Chantry is not a cult.

There'll still be religion even if the Chantry is somehow destroyed. At worst, it'll just be another form of Andrastianism.

Their propaganda is as plain as day with how constantly they say mages are bad which is not entirely true they also like to tell the masses how evil tevinter which probably is also lies and seeing as how we have never been to tevinter before in any DA game none of us know if all the mages there are crazy lunatics.

Not if a law is passed so that if anyone tries to create a new religion it will be punishable by death.

What I find most interesting is that despite a great many pro-mage claims of how the Chantry spews propaganda about Tevinter and how it's probrably not THAT bad, we've never even heard a single Chantry priest mention modern Tevinter; not even once that I can recall.
The sources of information regarding Tevinter either come from people who lived there; Fenris, Lambert, Orana; from meeting with actual Magisters and various groups of Tevinter slavers and letters from people who live there; World of Thedas has plenty.

Make Laws that prohibit establishment of new Religions with penalty of Death?

Gee, what an excellent way to start a full scale war.

Not entirely true? So you agree that some mages are bad/dangerous then?

And while it is true that we havent been to the Tevinter Imperium, we know that it practices slavery, a very much, to me, bad practice. Of course this is not necessarily a result of it being under the rule of mages but I sincerely hope that you agree that slavery is a disgusting and bad practice.

I don't want to become a dictator lol i just want to get rid of Thedas 1st main problem and that's religion and the chantry itself. Once religion is gone and cult feeding people lies is also gone Thedas will get better and people will for once think and do things for themselves and not let the opinion of a religious cult tell them who to like and not like or who to worship and not worship.

You want to ban religion in order to ensure freedom of worship?

Maybe the current Tevinter isn't all bad maybe fenris is just a bitter annoying loser from a dying species and only purpose for being in DA2 was to offset anders or maybe the current Archon in Tevinter is more powerful then the previous ones and is trying to save the imperium and amend past mistakes but a few of the other magister don't like it and are to scared to lose slaves because they have been relying on them so much.

Honestly, let's try to tackle this whole notion that normal people don't like mages because the Chantry tells them to.
It's actually the other way around. The Chantry's policies are a direct result of being created by a culture of people that spent millenia living under the opression of magic and violently ovethrew their magical opressors.
Basically, the beliefs of the Chantry didn't appear out of nowhere. They exist because the normal people of Thedas just don't bloody like mages rather than the other way around.

1. They seem like a cult to me with their worpship of a god who doesn't exist and trying to get others to do the same and getting angry when you don't

2. every single word that comes out of the chantrys mouth  is a lie (except blood magic which is only evil if the person using it is evil) and they think all of their opinons is fact.

3. provide proof the maker DOES exist

4. I am and will mock any religion based on a god no one can prove exist any chance i get

1.  Just because something "seems like" it is something, doesn't make it so.  From your demeanor and the way you type, you seem to be in your teens.  Doesn't make it true.

2.  Irony at its finest.

3.  I am not claiming he exists.  We don't know if he does or not.  HOWEVER, just as there has been no evidence proving he exists, there is none proving he does not.

4.  Pathetic.

Maybe you have no evidence for this speculation while I can, right this very instant, post a letter penned by a Magister where she sacrifices a young girl and talks of replacing her as if she was mobiliary.
Tevinter is scum. Period.

If the if the hints/rumors of their importance to the plot are true, they will be a major enemy mook faction in DA3. I have no idea how or why the red templar army is created, but, assuming it would make a worthwhile difference, if your inquisitor could stop the creation, or the potential creation, of more red templars by killing regular templars encountered, or has the opportunity to neutralize the entire order with the same goal in mind, would s/he do it?

Good question. Without reading any other response I'm already sure that those who hate Templars will most likely say yes. The way I see it, I wouldn't kill all Mages just to stop Blood mages so I wouldn't do the same for all Templars. But if offered an option to kill all Templars to prevent the rise of Red Templars then I hope there is an option to do the same for Mages to make it fair.
