Would you kill templars in DA3 if doing so stopped the creation of red templars?

Can we revoke 101ezy's atheist card?

Actually my guards would kinda be like the thalmor...which is funny because I hate them yet i love their race.

They believe that they are a superior race and that eveyone else is just an animal that is able to talk and should serve them and their superiors ? And by saying they are like the Thalmor - are you implying they all posses to some degree magic powers ?

And the way it currently is is any better?

The Chantry is far from perfect, but it does at least advocate against mass murder.

What you want from your guards is blind obedience. And that in turn might need some serious brainwashing...
Wait, is this getting sort of ironic or is it just me?

Sounds like someone is butthurt about religion in RL and projects those feelings in Cyberspace.

Let's not put gasoline on the fire.

Yes. Petrolium will do well enough.

Little Miss Dictator is the reason atheists get such a bad name on the internet.

Where's a mod when you need them?

Seriously, I've just stopped taking them seriously. It's actually funny if you take it as a joke.

Only the thalmor think like that not the entire race but yes some of my guards will think like that while others won't but my guardsmen will consist of regular people and mages.

So what about the Dalish? They can't prove their gods existed either. Will they need to be exterminated as well?

Well I don't think I stuttered. I said the Thalmor, not the whole race. Now please answer me this question. Let's say than in a paralel version of Thedas, magic is forbbiden. No magic, no healing spells, no spells at all.

The punishment for casting any sort of spell, even if it saves the king's life, is death. What do you think of that ?

EDIT

Guys, please let us not get this thread locked. As strange as it might sound, I find her way of thinking fascinating and I want to find out what makes it thick the way it does. + it was an interesting discussion before this "war"

101ezylonhxeT is being hypocritical by vilifying the chantry for locking up mages for what they might do, but actively takes away rights she doesn't deem essential based on what religious people might do

I would say it sucks for the people and mages not being able to use something thats acually useful unlike worship which isn't.

What about the people that take comfort in thinking there's some being they can confide their pleas and plights to?

Believing in a higher power might help some people by giving them hope that their lives might become better than they currently are and increase their moral and productivity. Do you see this as useless ?

They can do that with thier family like i do because when I get depressed  or something goes wrong i call up my family not pray to some being that most likey doesnt even exist in order to get some type of comfort that there is a higher being watching over me.

@General TSAR

I think you're making wild assumptions. While I don't agree with her way of thinking and I find some ideas repulsing, that doesn't mean that I can't find it interesting because of its alienness. It's not something you bump on every day. I find the human mind a very interesting subject.
So I wouldn't make offensive commentaries without knowing the whole context.

You seem to assume they have a family/have a family they want to associate with.  I think it's amazing you cannot tolerate what people do in their private time/quarters.
