Would you kill templars in DA3 if doing so stopped the creation of red templars?

They can do that with thier family like i do because when I get depressed  or something goes wrong i call up my family not pray to some being that most likey doesnt even exist in order to get some type of comfort that there is a higher being watching over me.

You underestimate the power of dopamine.

I would say it sucks for the people and mages not being able to use something thats acually useful unlike worship which isn't.

Believing in a higher power might help some people by giving them hope that their lives might become better than they currently are and increase their moral and productivity. Do you see this as useless ?

Well if this universe's king is about to die but can be saved by magic but won't let a mage use healing magic then those people really didn't care about the king anyway since they rather waste time praying and hoping he gets better then letting a person who with the actual abilty to save that persons life just sit there and watch him die KNOWING they could have saved him.

That orphan will most likely die or hopefully find someone sympathetic enough to adopt them and give them a home.

Nobody forbids healing magic in thedas anywhere. Unlike you, who would behead a person for saying "Hope to god you make it" or "I pray for your safety".

Stop trying to justify your horrid monsterous evil by making everyone else seem worse. You're only cementing peoples dismissal and disgust of you as a person.

Aham. Do you consider a person born as a mage superior and more important than a non-mage ?

Then I want to sincerily apologise. I interpreted your comment in a wrong way and thought it was a commentary regarding my own person. Sorry again.

Maybe that magister was just a raving lunatic with no connection to the current Archon who is trying to stop such things but with people like her its difficult to fully do such a thing.

Where exactly is it said that the current Archon is trying to change anything?
In fact, Lambert who was a friend of the current Archon claims that he is just like all others: corrupt and willing to do anything to anyone in order to keep his power.

Is lambert guy a templar? if so maybe thats why he feels that way plus they chantry is just as corrupt and will to do anything to keep themselves in power to.

And thats why you need to read the novels, to get information on the charaters that you're debating on. Lambert is not a templar but Lord Seeker.  Perhabs if you read Asunder you would get a brief history on the man, and spend less time on the maybe and more time heeding to the facts.

Mages  are no more important then a non-mage but mages are better then non-mages because of what magic allows them to do like turning their body into to rock armor or being able to heal your wounds easily or being able to interact with creatures from another dimension like the fade.

101ezylonhxet, using a game's religion to try and bash real life religions.

You made Raijin, an avid mage supporter, waste tears, and give pro-mages a bad name by using their plight as an excuse to crusade against those who want to believe in something.

It's hard to take 101ezylonhxet serious when she refuses to "waste" money on 3 novels, especially on Asunder. Only her headcanon counts, and that is all. To the hell with what David Gaider (Lead writer) show us for as long as he stuffs that piece of software with hours on end of text that is enough to strain your eyes into giving you a migraine headache.

You're not making our job any easier. Also, isn't a little immature to acuse a dozen people that they are unable to comprehend your beliefs and justifications ?

EDIT

Those powers also permit them to kill hundreds of innocents in a matter of minutes.

Why would how you are born or where you are born make you any better ? Souldn't actions be the ones that speak volumes ? Shouldn't what you decide to do with your powers (magic or not ) make you more of a better person and individual in a society?

Its feels like I'm the only person who can see how much Thedas would be with no religion in it and how much better the people of Thedas would be better without it.

You're dealing in absolutes. That's not a wise way of thinking. Also, it's easy to blame religion for the actions of its believers. The ones that sould be blamed for the way mages are treated in Thedas are the zelots that treat people as junk just because they are born in a certain way, not the religion.

There's not one verse in The Chant that says that mages should be opressed, treated like animals et cetera.

Also, there are andrastians that don't treat mages that way. Some of them are even templars. You are throwing everyone in the same bucked just because some zealots are making the mages life harder.
