Would you kill templars in DA3 if doing so stopped the creation of red templars?

In Dawn of the Seeker, she seems to change a bit in her views, after being helped by Regalyan, a mage of White Spire. Plus, even though she initially held her doubts about Kirkwall, she did seem to be mostly unbiased at the end, when she accepts that Meredith was to blame. So, I think she might be a good one to keep an eye out for.Lord Raijin wrote...

However, if Cassandra ends up in charge of the Seekers in the future, I think we might fare better on that front. I like her a lot.
Cassandra has my interests. I will have to investigate her personality traits furthur down the road to cast down my vote to determine if shes suitable to being Lord seeker.
I still want to know what her current views about mages, especially since one murdered her brother. Is she fair and consistent? Those are what I need to know.

So, is anyone else hoping for the opportunity to have our Inquisitor sit down with the leaders of the factions and discuss how to provide basic freedoms for mages while ensuring the protection as well as freedom of normals?
Or is that just me?

On that, I think we can agree. I for one am burning them all to ash, no questions asked. Their intentions hardly seem benign.General TSAR wrote...

Though I don't think the Red Templar Faction is one for diplomacy.

I hope we do get such an opportunity to do so. Maybe in DA:I, the conclusion of the mage-templar conflict will be a second peace submit like the one from hosted in the beginning (according to the rumors). Instead, the inquisitor will be the one overseeing this submit instead of the chantry/divine. Then throw in some conspiracy situation such as red templars trying to mess things up or antagonist of DA:I trying to manipulate the event from the shadow to make the rift in the sky even worse.

And when is it considered being a templar bad anyway? Oh wait, there are some bad examples. Clearly they must all be curbstomped because of some lunatics. They're like apples. If one is bad, the rest will too.
Good thing Anders took the joining and there are slim chances he'd be reproducing. Imagine the things he'd be teaching his kids.
"Ok, kids. Today daddy will teach you how to play the victim and manipulate your closest ones into blowing **** up to prove a point. And remember: It's never your fault as long as there are others to blame."
Your extreme hatred for Anders is quite hilarious.

It is something to strive towards though. Gaining equality takes time, it is not something that will happen overnight.badboy64 wrote...

Freedom for mages. They will always be treated badly regardless if that they are given basic freedoms.

Now this is something people fail to notice. Would templars supporters really keep supporting them the way they do if they tried to put themselves on the shoes of an circle mage?eluvianix wrote...

Even during the Rite, I would gladly accept a Sword of Mercy.
Needs of the many vs. Needs of the few.

You think so?
What I find more hilarious is that I played a mage and actually romanced Anders on my main and sided with the mages.
Guess I'm not paranoid enough to feel oppressed and agree with crazies.

Granted, this only occurred when they were attempting to contain a Circle that had entirely gone to sh*t.

Why would you romance an evil mage who plays the victim role? Is their something that you want to tell us all? Perhabs letting a few skeletons out of your closet?
Romancing Fenris seems to be down your road.

Well, the templars just watch mages, the qunari leash mages like animals & worse things such as cutting their tongues out
