Potions in RPGs are generally done stupid, cooldowns are for idiots. Potions ought to be done as battle preparation as chemical buffs to accompany magical ones or in the vein of doping. Ideally, they ought to be counterbalanced by some sort of toxicity or addiction mechanic which the player must balance over time. Witcher games had this right. But Elder Scrolls has always been like this, so it is unfair to lay the blame on Skyrim, when it's predecessors had this flaw too.Lazengan wrote...
Spam potions because there is no cooldown and no choice.
Not to mention it is a trope that has a long, long history in RPGs.Lazengan wrote...
Of course it's hard to accept that your degeneracy waifu sandbox simulator is a terrible game, but if I understand it correctly, the majority of you are not gamers. More circlejerk please
You have been playing Skyrim for 2 whole years since it's release, even modding for it. Yet you hate it so much, you only play it for the waifus.
It seems to me that you are the only one who is actually playing Skyrim as a waifu sandbox simulator.
Yea I accept trash for being trash. I enjoy it for the waifus, nothing more really. I haven't touched the thing in 4 months and the next time I would play it is probably for less than 15 minutes to try out a new mod
do you people actually find skyrim to be fun and engaging? How can people play this on console for years?! I really worry about the future of this industry
Potions are not very hard to do. Put a cooldown on them to prevent spamming and non-choices in gameplay
