Does anyone besides me wish that during ME3, they could of combined both the Ex-Cerberus crew that was rescued from the Collector base along with the Alliance crew (which I believe includes the remnants of the old SR1 crew); and also as many as possible of all of your previous squadmates?

Can you imagine having to settle quite of number of disputes between the various crewmates?

Can you imagine having both Dr. Chakwas and Dr. Michel occupying the med-bay? After all its a big war, which means lots of wounds to heal, no?

P.S. Dear David, unless you can write something that isn't blunt criticism, stay out of this forum...

Maybe not the Normandy itself, but I kind of imagined a point where there'd be an extended cast in a fleet of sorts. Like BSG or something.

Huh. Would've been kind of cool to be in control of a pair of ships like Adama was of the Galactica and Pegasus, and you could freely travel between the two via shuttle. Dunno if I see it working all that well for a game, but I like it just the same.

Yeah, ME3 lacks at squadmate diversity, but even with Ex-Cerberus crew, I would still feel like the variety still sucked.

Actually, having only Sgt. Rupert Gardner back on the team would have made my day.

I would have loved to have seen some more interaction with the minor NPC's.

Perhaps give them their own missions or asignments, trying to match up abilities with mission parameters. Giving them supplies and equipment.. Have them level up :D

Yay, great the girls guarding the war room have now leveled up to level 3!
That should take care of KL should he try to sneak in ;)

Yeah, he'd definitely catch what fell through the cracks. Heh, through the cracks.

Gosh, 17 squadmates just isn't enough for you, huh?

Tell me. Is there a game in existence with variety that doesn't suck for you? Or is this just something you whine about here?

Ah, the completeness principle.
If it were up to me, I would just have every prominent character in the game on my ship. TIM, Anderson, Hackett, Wrex, Wreav, Wiks, Kirahee, the first Council, the second Council, Udina, all ME1 squaddies, all ME2 squaddies, all ME3 squaddies, NegaShepard, Brooks, Chambers, Michel, Chakwas, Traynor, Cortez, obviously Joker, Rupert, Feron, Bailey, Ken&Gabby, Adams, Pressley, Jenkins, Nihlus, Saren, Aria, Eve, Tela Vasir, the Quarian admirals, the Shadow Broker, Kolyat, Parasini, Anoleis, Lorik, Shiala, Shaira...
Everyone.
Except Ashley, she's not invited.

I'd rather they not spread themselves so thin again. After all, 12 squadmates in ME2 worked wonders for their character depth/development.

It did for that game alone at least. Every character got good treatment in ME2. It was 2 discs of character stories.

lol yeah.....no.

What we got was 12 squadmates with interesting premises, that ultimately boiled down to an overcrowded ship filled with shallow characters that all had variations of the same exact story. Mommy/Daddy/Family/Friends issues.

I'd rather they focus on 6-7 unique characters who's backgrounds actually differentiate from one another. I'd also prefer if they focus on the overall narrative of the game, rather than making a game with a plot that is nonexistent other than the 12 fetch quests we have to help our hapless squaddies with.

Maybe some are shallow, but not all. How can you be such a fan of the same writers one minute, and then be so harsh about their work in another game? They're trying their best either way.

Grunt provided an insight into Krogan culture that Wrex didn't -- that aspect of Krogans that embraced destruction and actually enjoyed nuking their own planet and thought survival was more important above all else. To me, it's beyond bizarre and radical and truly alien (no humans really think that way), but interesting to me how they could come to those conclusions. Legion, for a brief second, was an AI without pinnochio issues. Mordin gave you the other side of the story for the genophage. And the guilt involved. Jack was like Sole Survivor Shep and Kaidan and every insane ME1 biotic mixed in one. And her romance arc was hardly shallow. And for those of us who were raised in the 70s and 80s, she had welcome motifs just on a superficial level. It was cool to see a character who acted like me or people I grew up with (punks, skaters, methhead tow truck drivers. lol).

Indeed, I could see him and James Vega having an argument in the kitchen over food...

Gardner was the one guy who got me to see some good in Cerberus. The typical colonist who got assraped by Batarians and wanted to fight back.

I said, "as many as possible", so...

Wrex can't come along as he is ruler of the Krogan, or dead.

Jacob is protecting his new girlfriend, plus I don't welcome him, or he is dead.

Thane is terminally ill/dead

Uhh... hold on.

As for sleeping accommodations, hey, I see plenty of unused space throughout the ship, time to bring out the sleeping bags...

Another potential "conflict moment" could have happened there.

Off topic: They should use the quicker scanner that C-sec uses, or just get rid of it. After all it doesn't really protect anything at all does it?Image IPB

Well, that is included in everyone, but yeah, I would've wanted them too. Doesn't matter if they're alive or dead. I just want EVERYONE on the Normandy, so that they can all chat about everything possible. Even Kai Leng and Oleg Petrovsky.
Only Ashley is not invited.
And I should be able to bring at least 16 squaddies with me, not limit it to two. Whenever there's squaddie specific dialogue, they should all chime in instead of just one or two of them giving the commentary. Hear all the dialogues in one go.

Oh please, people, I am not talking about a party here, I am just talking about combining ship crews to make the Normandy feel less empty. I just now completed Priority Horizon, and after taking another tour around the Normandy, not to mention helping Tali to the Emergency Dumpage Port, I felt lonely and the Normandy truly felt empty. Doesn't anyone ever go into the Life Support room?
