I don't see why not.  They're pretty universal for message boards, I'd say go for it. If using these elsewhere is wrong, I don't want to be right.

These emoticons can be helpful to understand a text when the writer isn't professional or doesn't know English much.

BTW, bioware emoticons are limited. There is no proper ones for anger, disgust, thumb up or down etc.

They are limited but better than most other sites when comparing equivalents

Well of course it's broken, it's my logic.
Also I actually don't mind the emoticons BSN uses. It may be little in comparison to other sites but it's still usefull and cool.

I like your avatar.

I'll use this as a universal emoticon for every feeling ever. I'll use it for anger, happiness, despair and confusion. In fact I'll message the forum managers and ask them to replace the current emoticons with this converted into one. It's going to be glorious.
