There is still an unknown quantity of un-effected Reaper tech out there; and possibly several Reapers as well.
I am curious to see what kind of setup they (Reapers) had out there, and I am also glad that the Reapers are still (techically) part of the settting, should the next game be a continuation of the Mass Effect story.
Me too. Mass Effect without the Reapers would be like Doctor Who without Daleks; just not the same.
Assuming there are some still out there in Dark space, (and assuming that the ridiculous Crucible actually did work its damn-stupid magic), then I would be very interested to see what this reaper remnant might do in a post destroy setting. Once freed from the Catalyst's control, they might develop individual personalities. Some might be benign, but others, freed from the directive to "preserve" organic life, might become even more dangerous and vicious.
If some of them see no value in organic life at all, then they would no longer have to waste time harvesting. They could glass every planet they come across from orbit, no matter how primitive, just because they can.
The sequels could be quite interesting if Bioware go down this line.

Wouldn't the "other Citadel Relay" just be a regular relay that's 100x bigger than the normal ones?
No idea. I'd imagine there must be something more than a simple relay out there, though - it's had to imagine thousands of Reapers just... floating out there in formation, but inert, immobile, inactive. At the very least you'd expect some kind of containment/maintainance facility to prevent them all drifting off in different directions over the 60,000 years or so they're out there...
Now I'm getting a vivid mental image of thousands of inactive Reapers floating around aimlessly, crashing into each other, drifting off into the intergalactic void to be lost forever...

My money's on a Reaper Sized matinance bay, at the very least.
Its obvious that over the billion years that they have been doing this, that the Reapers must have improved or upgraded some things about themselves; and what would be a better location then a place that has absolutly zero chance of organics discovering it?
It could be here that all the Reapers were upgraded to prevent the 'system shock' that Soveriegn experienced in ME 1 after Marauder-Saren died.

Yep, no reason to believe EVERY Reaper was involved in the assault (or affected by the various endings) - and even one Reaper is a threat. What else? Gene banks and cloning facilities (those Collectors had to come from somewhere) for the harvested races? Some kind of megalithic Reaper super structure (a dark space "twin" to the Citadel)?
Ladies and gentlemen, we appear to have ourselves a sequel!

Oh, and the Citadel-counterpart would probably be given a name starting with C. Because everything else in Mass Effect gets a name starting with C. (Citadel, Cerberus, Conduit, Crucible, Collectors...)
The Cathedral? The Chrysalis?
...Candlekeep?
Looks like we were both wrong. It's clearly going to be called Caracas.
