A straight up fight, yeah, of course. T-Rex against a broken toothpick. Funnily enough, that's exactly what we got with Harbinger shooting fish in a barrel with Hammer on Priority: Earth.
But of course, that's not the only way the battle could have played out... as I pointed out in the OP. As the Codex tells us, the Alliance finds ways to take Reaper capital ships down - so we can conceivably find a way to take Harbinger down as well.
It's just disappointing that we didn't.
