Seemed fairly self-explanatory to me.

If one power is activated at the start of the game then left on constantly throughout the game (such as blade armour), then you only have two powers available to cast during the game, which can become limiting.

Batarian sentinel is a prime example of a kit with limited options, resulting in a somewhat bland kit, unless you use him to hatesurf, of course.

There are dozens of ways to play the Batarian Sentinel. If none of them interest you, that is a personal fault, not one of the kit. Passive abilities give bonuses which change some elements of gameplay, usually for a penalty. Using or not using passive abilities, and how you spec them, will change the way the game is played. Having different options makes variance.

By your logic, Destroyer, Geth Trooper, and Valkyrie are the most boring kits in the game because they have two passive abilities.

As i've already stated, all kits should limited in their flexibility. Also my discussion with Mastered has nothing to do with power spammers or weapon kits. What you've said is a complete non-sequitur.

Also GT and Valkyrie aren't weapon kits, so your argument isn't even valid.

Female Turian Engineer

- Turian Turret (would be unique to her), defense or team-based AoE help power evos
- Incinerate

Volus 'Annihilator' Soldier

- Rolling Thunder (would be unique to him), Volus would curl up into a ball and would roll himself like a bowling ball of thunder force toward the enemy in a straight like, knocking them down in his path, but could be sync-killed if a Phantom/Banshee/Brute happens to be in his way. He would exclaim *Kssshhhh* "Ow, ouch, ugh!" *Kssshhh* as he'd execute his roll. Would be considered a Combat Power, would also act as a Detonator. Would hit a maximum of 5 enemy units with proper evos.
- Concussive Shot, with a unique evo for extra damage for targets on fire.
- Incinerate

Asari Consort Engineer

- Pole Dance. Active AOE ability. Long animation. Reduce movement speed and accuracy of all affected enemies by 50% for 20 seconds. Enemies take 20% more damage for 20 seconds.

- Embrace Eternity. Active Single Target ability. Instantly restore the Shields, Health, Grenades, and Ammo of a squadmate or yourself. Long but separate cooldown.

- Gift of Words. Grenade. Teleports affected targets to the other end of the map.

- Cultural Dominance. Passive. Provides small bonuses that benefit the whole team.

- Azure. Replaces Fitness. Light Melee is Shake Dat Azure. Heavy Melee is Kiss My Azure. Melee do relatively small damage but heavy melee immobilizes any humanoid enemy and drains their shields, and light melee is a small AOE stagger. much like Jugg melee.

Honestly I think it's still the best combination. In this case it would feel like a cross between the human solider and the batarian soldier trading Adrenaline Rush for greater durability.

Abilities:
Butthurt Bubble- radius over 9,000 meters with a CD that corresponds to your Epeen being threatened. It nerfs down enemy and/or teammate damage to that of an non auto Avenger.
Epeen Booster Aura- turns your character into a majestic godlike figure that gives you encouraging, witty banner about how much of a winner in life you are and how you totally will not die as a loser living in your mother's basement. Teammates and enemies may be instakilled from the majestic aura coming off your charcter and/or the rainbows your character farts as he top scores all the other scrubs in your lobby.
Scrubtastic Control Array- instakills annoying teammates that get in your way of saving the galaxy, also composes witty hate mail to send to your scrubby teammates because winners don't have time for that chit.
Fitness
Stim packs automatically fire when you take damage because you obviously did get that ops pack off on time. Rage gel matrix that fires when you are downed by any BS game mechanic, enemy fire, or anything else that twists you panties at that particular moment.

- Something like Fortification but based on the shell they put on their Reaper allies
- Something like Hunter Mode (with all those eyes...)
Heavy melee: creates a dark red blade on his hand and strikes with it
Combat roll

Banshee (Vanguard)
- Reaper Charge (faster but weaker than Biotic Charge, useful to move on the map like the real Banshee does)
- Biotic Scream (AOE power, stagger enemies)
- Biotic Parasite (Launch a globe of energy that follows the enemy and sucks part of his life/shield) or Warp
Heavy melee: hit the enemy with her long, sharp hands
Can't take cover

Collector Captain (Sentinel)
- Barrier
- Seeker Swarm
- Lift Grenade

Collector Warrior (Soldier)
- Collector Web (places a web that slows enemies and protects the players)
- Frag grenade
- Adrenaline Rush (don't ask me why, I ran out of ideas :D:D:D)

Collectors use their blades for heavy melee and their weapons for light melee. Also wouldn't have an "Ascension Stance". They dodge the same way as the Adept (usign their wings)

Nemesis (Infiltrator)
- Sniper (It would activate a laser from the eyes that gives you 100% more accuracy. To use it you must stand still. It deactivates after one shot)
- Tactical Cloak
- Hunter Mode or similar
No melee

Centurion (Soldier)
- Smoke Grenade (the enemies can't see you for a brief time)
- Fortification
- Frag Grenade

Phantom (Sentinel)
- Biotic hand-gun (weaker than Phase Disruptor)
- Biotich Shield (like Barrier but with a duration time)
- Shadow Strike or something like that
Heavy melee: the same of the sync kill (but less damage obviously:D)

Engineer
- Cerberus Turret (with more health and damage than the geth or the sentry turret, would also deploy ammo and grenades but not recharge shields. the Engineer would have a little bar on his ammo counter that shows the shield and healt of the Turret. Only one deployable at time)
- Shield Boost (usable also for "repairing" all the turrets, geth and sentry included)
- EMP grenades

Proximity mine.
Stun grenades (very weak version of arc grenades combined with debuff options).

Can be run cool-down independent by skipping proximity mine, like how the KroSol and KroSent sometimes are.

Can be made a melee damage monster by running a caster build and cycling fortification on then off then proxy mining enemy's to stagger and debuff them before running in for the head-butt.

Stun grenades can be used either to stun and debuff enemy's before head-butting them, or combined with proxy mine to spawn nuke on a caster build, or used to debuff foes before shooting them on a weapons build, if you're a pyjack who doesn't like to get his skull plate dirty.
