I thought you played a Mage Hawke.

I was just referring to the battle in general, I didn't read that whole post. Sorry. My post was just in regards to the battle itself, particularly because Anders, Carver, and Varric kept getting deep fried while my non healing mage ran around trying not die from falling icicles, lightning bursts, flame walls, or the shades that kept pestering me.

Edit: Well I technically used a two handed warrior on my last runthrough, so I did kill Cory with a warrior at one point too.

@MisterJB: is the armour and sword of your Hakwe dlc material or mods?

DLC. The armor is "The Golden Prince's Raiment" which is, basically, a Chevalier armor and the sword is the two handed version of the Key of the Hawke.

I youtubed some of the other finishers. I think the rogues have probably the best finishers in game.

Full group move is your freind. I ended the battle with only Hawke and Carver still up.

I point out what's wrong with theories all the time. Some are stupid, some are good but for one detail, and some are as likely true as not. That's not the same as ignoring people who point out legitimate flaws with your own.

And now you are trolling provoking so hypocrisy...
And as i said you don't know what ignoring means because i always (well almost always) respond and point what is wrong. But as far i renember you telling me that mages (not blood mages ) are powerful despite they lost almost every their fight and only what i heard from you was repeating qunari war shady historical events. Now you are claming that i troll despite that you are the one who provokes now :innocent: and i never lied about what im saying like silf who said that wilhelm son was mage and it is stated by lore so no im not trolling.

What I'm saying is that with a revolutionary product, there's more money in keeping the monopoly on it going strong then selling it to competetors so they can make their own versions. And in a society where every mage is competition, it can lead to a lot of resource hoarding for the sake of accumulating a power base.

But I never said any magister who discovered that would sell it to the competition. Obviously, he would try to be the only able to provide the product but I don't think he'd hoard it just for himself where there is a lot of money on the line.
Also, I doubt every mage in Tevinter is competition. There are enslaved mages, after all. And there is always the foreign market; the Chantry would likely pay a fortune for a way to immunize their mages. The Qun would be all over it since the only problem they see in magic is the demons.

Nope. Outmagicking Cory was sooooo much more satisfying.

Good boy.

Well, I wouldn't kill you.  I'd probably rip off only the one limb, maybe one non-vital organ, like a kidney.

Why are you people harrassing me anyway, when you COULD google it?  Hell, I googled it!  I'm still gonna try it myself, but still!

Rogue have best finishers (not archer) mage have good but in corry fight mage finisher was weak and warriors have in my opinion worst.

That isn't backed up by my previous experience of you, but I looked back through and it turns out I had missed something in response to my general point. (Though I think it's a poor one. "I didn't see him casting a spell, I saw him stretching out his hand." He had nothing in it, and was waving it mystically. I'm not going to deny it could have been an artifact, all I'm saying is that that's not at all what it looked like. ) So, in this case, I think I had you partially wrong. Sorry about that.

But as far i renember you telling me that mages (not blood mages ) are powerful despite they lost almost every their fight and only what i heard from you was repeating qunari war shady historical events. Oh, great. I'm doing this again.

I don't think Silf ever said the lore says Matthias's son is a mage. I'm pretty sure you're confusing that with another argument. (And while I agree there's some chance Matthias is just using a magic item here, I'm pretty much going to have to back Silf unreservedly on that last one.) And while I don't want to get back into that last argument, there was a lot more to my point than you're representing. (It's tactics like that that made me strongly suspect you of trolling. Which I'd like to think is something different from throwing in a joke here and there.)

You made a promise. So in the interest of preserving your dignity and honor, we are simply trying to keep you to that promise. Besides, why would we spoil the great reveal with something as foul as google?

Groups of chevaliers using wyverns as mounts.

You remember incorrectly.  Both
Wilhelm and his son Matthias were mages.  On this the lore is clear and
there is no argument to be had.

And well i never claimed that wilhelm wasn't mage only that it was never stated that his son was so don't ask my why he put there wilhelm

Wait, does Tevinter even have a desert for the scorpions? I think thats where scorpions live, right?
And I think the image to right reminds me of a wyvern silhouette.

Scorpions are commonly found within savannahs, rainforests, grasslands, and some caves as well. Which would also explain the elephants.

Red Templars on the left.

Fair enough. We have giant spiders, why not giant scorpions?

Edit: Good catch on the Behemoth. Notice the Nightmare in the demons list too.

Orlais already has wyverns...

Since they hunt them for sport, I would imagine that wyvern meat ends up the menu, too.  At least for the nobility.

And they should be more commonly used. As in, cavalry should be replaced by...wyvernry.
