what do you guys think? Would you play as other races? Which ones? I'd love to be an Asari, drell, krogan, maybe a new species? A geth even.

Also if they need more voice actors due to there being more species they did a fine job of that in SWTOR for example, but again I think it would mean they'd have to greatly reduce the amount of dialogue choices we get, and at the same time less autodialogue... practically just less dialogue for the protagonist in general because the more customizable the more avatar-ish s/he is.
But whatever, I'm crossing my fingers Bioware gives it their all with ME4 but those ideas would be nice to see.

If their are different playable races in single player, 1st choice would either be human or asari. Maybe even one of the new species.
Yes, would be awesome

Whatever the case, I'd say 360 degree rotation in the character creator is an absolute must. I enjoy crafting custom Shepards; I don't enjoy starting over after a 15-minute intro sequence because I can see their eyes bugging out of their head from an in-game angle I couldn't see while crafting them.

Ye, please. I'd like not to spend more than an hour restarting the intro just because I can't see if I'm getting it right just to give up and go with the preset face. Let us move around the character so we can see his head for any angle we want.
And some more options like scars, tattoos, non natural colours for hair (we can dye them now, why wouldn't we in the future?). You can always add more customization but without going too deep into it, just think. The customization that SWToR offers and compare it to ME.
Granted that I like ME having some sliders unlike swtor but if we're giving ideas in how to include more options applying something your own company has already done should not be too difficult.

Every custom ME2 maleshep I ever made has a weird habit of scrunching the skin under their eyes into a very sharp shelf while speaking. Most prominent in Lazarus Station.almightydavidbc27 wrote...
Yea in game facial adjustments are a must. No matter what you do something looks funky animated

The default faces in the New Vegas character creator are f***ugly, but I liked having the opportunity to go back and make revisions when you leave Goodsprings after playing around with them for a bit.CynicalShep wrote...

Yeah, I liked that about NV as well. Had to do it a couple of times, too.

Beyond that, better slider description and more visually appealing preset would be appreciated. The only faces that ever looked good in ME were the ones based on actual actor models--making your own face with the sliders always felt like an exercise in futility, though some have had better luck than I. Generally more customization beyond face would be nice--I would enjoy inspirations from Skyrim, if not quite to it's level of knobs. Every knob on Skyrim that I actually could immediately tell what did felt like it had a material impact on the look of my character.

Face-morphing and multiple races should be easier on the hardware now with the new generation of consoles boasting 20 times more memory at the games' disposal. Other than that, I don't want them taking examples from Skyrim. It has many races, but nearly zero acknowledgment of the race choice in the story and quests.Nate_Assassin wrote...
I just want Skyrim-style character creation with multiple races to choose from like human, asari, quarian, turian... you get the idea.

I like the customization of Skyrim along with all the different race choices. And about the lack of race acknowledgment, there are many different ones and it would require many many different lines of dialogue based on your race witch would require the game to take up more memory than it does already on consoles. There is some race-based dialogue if you try to join the Stormcloakes as any race other than a Nord. I really think that the CREATING process from Skyrim would make ME4 that much better as each different play-though would be more unique.Gisle-Aune wrote...

Will they be able to keep the same look and feel of not only the characters but the universe?
