I support this fully! There should be more subtitle options for many languages.

This won't happen anytime soon. Dragon Age is a text-heavy/litrature-heavy game; while games like battlefeild are not.

The average vocabulary of a non-native speaker, who has studied English, averages at 6000/10,000 if they are really good.) while a native speaker of English average vocabulary is 120,000 words. A well Educated native speaker of English knows aproximatly 400,000 + words. Obviously, with such a vast difference in volcabulary, translations for text-heavy games are very costly, and at times impossible to translate.(There are 'words' in Chinese that have no English equivilant, and vice versa.)

Another problem is: that the Languages function differently.English uses tone to change the emphais of the word, but Chinese uses tone to change the word. Because of how the Languages function: it's very difficult to get a good translation either way.

And then there is the CCP's rigid policies, and how they love to censor content.

With budget/time constraints, I justdon't see them doing a chinese 'sub' anytime soon.

Just run all the text and subtitles through Google translate. It would be flawless, no?
