Yes, there is a savegame limit, I don't remember very well, but I think we can create only 10 characters.

I don't like it and I want to create more and more.

And I don't like spells/talents trees from DAO neither from DA2.
We are obligated to add some spell/talent that we don't want till we get our option.

I hated this, so I agree I don't want it to be like that in DAI:sick:

I think we've gone as far as is interesting with Spirit host Companions. (Wynne, Justice, Anders) I don't think we really need to go that down that road again.

Ideally, i'd like our combat control to be something hack and slash like DmC. I hate having to place my character's survival into the hand of some random number generator under the hood of the game. But i guess it is a bit too much to ask, and it would guarantee backlash among more purist RPG section of the fan base.

A few minor things- slow combat, If a companion (this case zevran) tells me he has a pparticular set of skills like lockpicking and I decide to let him into party lo and behold! he doesn't have those skills.Just please stick with skills they currently have when thay are telling me about why I would want them into the party. Less generic looking companions I don't want to be able to recreate my companions in the character creator. Those ugly hairstyles.

-The combat- one of my biggest turn-offs about Origins. It's sad because I love the story, the RP potential and replayability of the game but I hate going through battles in Origins

-Recycled armors/weapons- pretty much a minor thing but I'd rather armor look unique, Having materials give a slight color change just felt off.

-The Deep Roads- I love dungeons as much as the next player but that was way too long

-Having a huge roster of companions but only few are actually useful (Alistair, Leliana, Morrigan, Wynne) while the others are either niche, redundant or just useless

-The Fade (I like the part when visiting companion dreams but hated everything else with it)

-Lack of variety among races (elves looking like short humans with pointy ears, dwarves looking like even smaller humans and qunari looking like bronze skinned giant humans)

-The shuffle- no explanation required

-Rogues pretty much give the 'lightly armored fighter' vibe. Shouldn't take that many backstabs to kill an enemy...

-The approval system- Just didn't like being forced to agree or say something out of character for approval points, and those who want the most out of their bonuses are railroaded unlike the friendship/rivalry system of DA2

The style of combat. I loved DA2's Beat Em Up style alot better because it makes the game feel like it's going alot faster.

Most players didn't like the DA2 NINJA style combat and enemies falling out of the ceiling literally.
I didn't like it.

As for DAI, the combat needed to be faster but not DA2 level faster.

Lets see:

Inventory management. Limited spaces (weight, whatever) and (about) 218 different types of junk. Huge areas without a way to sell the junk. Or the combinations of those da-o seemed to have quite often.

One healer comp. Unless you were playing healermage or made Morrigan a healer, you had one compulsory char in all the major quests. Or you needed really ridiculous amounts of healthkits.

Waves of enemies. Ok, mostly that was in da2.

Combat system. Me3 had a great system. I just wonder if you can take the good parts of it since its a totally different kind of combat.

I know most people will be glad it's gone, but am I the only person who is kind of nostalgic for being able to shoot area of effect spells through walls? That made me giggle when I could do it Origins.

AoE spells for Mages need to be scaled back from Origins, but larger than DA2. In Origins, on the higher difficulties you could accidentally nuke your entire party despite standing miles away, while in DA2 even the larger spells were kinda small. Going for the middle ground would give you a sense of power, but not making you seem too overpowered.

Mage Combat needs to in the vein of DA2, rather than Origins. Having the staff become a melee weapon gave it more realism and I think made combat more interesting.

I enjoyed all of these things.

Things I don't like from DA:O

- Weird mage hat
- Weird mage robes (yuck! Since the setting is in Orlais, they'd better have better designs >.<')
- And I kindly request better looking staves
- Awkward love scenes (the hugging and kissing is fine, just not the love making part. Idk, some people like it, but to me it was.. Really awkward to say the least)

Edit: I don't want to see the ugly helmets return either.

While I think DA:O was awesome, there were a few things I didn't like...

1) The painfully slow-paced combat.

2) The fact that two-handed warriors take so much damage that they are the first ones down to 25% health in most cases.

3) Overwhelm-->get up-->overwhelm again.

4) Overwhelm period.

5) Weird mage hats (some were really funny looking but others just looked plain stupid).

6) Enemies that have Precise Striking (warrior exclusive) and Dirty Fighting (rogue exclusive).

7) Having no problems one playthrough, then having problem after problem on the next (happened with my first human noble. It got so bad that I ended up losing four hours of game play. I ended up deleting him).

8) Mage spells taking so long to cast.

9) Not being able to find out what happens to your clan if you played as a Dalish elf.

10) Not being able to find out what happens in Highever when Howe is in charge if you chose human noble origin.

11) Not being able to re-explore places after you finish the game.

12) Lack of elf romance options.

13) Lack of dwarf romance options (I just can't imagine how a dwarf/human or dwarf/elf romance would work...).

14) The rather obvious lack of dragons despite the game being called 'Dragon Age' (a little ironic, don't you think?).

15) The lack of the ability to have a pet dragon (wouldn't that be awesome?).

16) Characters like Zevran, who keep flirting with you constantly when you've made it clear that you aren't interested (don't get me wrong. I think Zevran is great, but there is a clear line between flirting and sexual harassment...).

17) Single line dialogue.

18) Not hearing anything when choosing dialogue for a party member (referring to the end of the game, of course).

19) The lack of Dalish elves (this was fixed, somewhat, in DA2, but Merrill is not really the best to fill the roll).

20) Half of the party being human (the only non-humans are Shale, Zevran, Oghren, Sten, and your mabari. Alistair, Leliana, Wynne, Morrigan, and Loghain are all human...).

And... Yup. That's about it.

Horribly slow combat

Sword animations for all melee weapons

Bribing companions with gifts to like you (except for the ones that are actually significant to their personal backgrounds, like Sten's sword or the book for Morrigan)

Wynne being forced on you unless you want to be a homicidal maniac.

Mooks getting the highest tier weapon skills as you level up (a group of archers on higher levels was a pain in the ass because they all used scattershot, or whatever that stunning ability is called)

50 shades of brown (though from the first look of the gameplay that's not an issue)

Almost forgot: Mage hats!

Like many said, the poorly paced combat

Weak combat animations

Companions hating you just because you dare to think differently. The nerve!

Incapacity to elaborate why you have an different opinion then your companion

Enemy archers have 90% accuracy while you and Leliana are quite bellow the 50%

Cheap overwhelms

Aura of weakness

Constant misses even with high dexterity

1) Mage hats
2) Leather armour
3) Cutscenes completely reorganising where you placed your party members
4) Umm.. no that's about it.
5) Oh no. Mage power levels needed nerfing a bit.
6) And Denerim, the city needed to feel like one, even if it's not actually all that big, it could be done so much better. See Nadoret in Drakensang: River of Time for small but perfectly formed - without loading screens either.

I liked the combat pace of DA:O.
