Okay, so by now we all know that pretty much the entire game is about building up your squad and ship so that you will be capable of pulling off and surviving the suicide mission. However, you don't have to. In fact, I remember reading somewhere that you don't even have to recruit some characters if you don't want to.

So, if you were playing and you were faced with the choice of either taking somebody onto your crew, knowing that they disagree with your character and that gaining their loyalty might not be something doable by your own paragon/renegade-y means, would you leave them behind?

In short: Would you do something that could jeapordize the mission in the name of your Shepards own morals?

By not recruiting someone I miss out on parts of the game, so no
The less people you recruit, the lesser chance of survival
I'll recruit everyone and I'll gain everyone's trust easily
Besides, I like everyone from the new squad

I've asked this question many times with no conceivable answer given. Could a purely Paragon Shepard still have everyone's loyalty? Or a purely renegade? DA:O allowed this simply by having no paragon or renegade system and through the useage of gifts.

If theres no gifts, it seems plainly you need to be renegade sometimes and paragon sometimes, which is unfortunate.

I think it depends heavily on the side missions you play, my guess would be that there are personal things all characters want, if you help them archive it you probably have a good standing.

Best example would be Wrex armor, if you get him the armor the option in vermire becomes much more definitiv.

Yeah i know what you mean, i don't think Bioware would really mess with that though, considering the morality aspect is so important to both ME games
