Mine is Kingdom Hearts 2's 1000 heartless battle. I should've known it would stink as the Axel battle in flames also stunk, so did every other battle in the game. They were just too easy compared to the enemies in the first game and Chain of Memories.

Alduin from Skyrim. The so called world eater got killed in 2 arrows. I expected some epic boss fight.

Operation Final Fury in X³ Terran Conflict.
I've read soo much about how difficult and destructive the climatic battle would be that I pulled all stops and prepared two entire CODEA battlegroups, each centered around two M1s with fighters, four M2s and one fully loaded M7M, maxed CODEA skills, capital ships equipped with MARS, ready for a fight that might well melt down my PC's CPU.
Only for it to end in a total pushover as my two M7Ms utterly decimated the whole sector nearly instantly ... boooooooring. And frickin' expensive!

They tried to make the 1000 heartless battle look epic, but it was much easier than fighting let's say the heartless on the 13th floor in Chain of Memories and even the Coliseum tournament battles in Kingdom Hearts 1 (not counting optional boss battles, Hades, FF characters, Hercules, and Cerberus) .J. Kai Leng, I just could not take him serious enough when he shouted "shut up!" when Shepard merely taunted him, I'm genuinely surprised he did not say anything about my mother due to how pathetic he is.

The most fresh in my mind that was a total dissapointment was the end fight in Two Worlds 2.
Come to think of it, this was THE most dissapointing one ever, as all the levelling and prepping had almost nothing to do with how the boss had to be defeated.

By the way, not much disappointing as it is anti-climatic, but the second time I fought with Revolver Ocelot over the DARPA chef in Twin Snakes.
I just ran at him and he'd try to get away ... ended up to be a bossfight of me chasing him in a circle around the strung up DARPA dude blindly firing my pistol at him on the move until I had withered him down. He never even shot at me once during that fight. Really the only thing that missed was the Jakety Sax ...
