It would have been "EXTREMELY" cool if at the end of the Citadel DLC you could have re recruited a former (ME2) Squad mate.(sorta of rewarding the fans for playing all 3 games) the perffect end to BW lover letter to the fans.I thought BW should have had added a slection screen instead of the just talking to your former ME2 Squad mates during the comnication scene on Priority Earth. That way you could have taken your LI with at least have them at the end of the playthrough and they would be there at the wall scene on the Normandy. Maybe they could release ME 3.5 and let you have your pick of any surviving squad member. any way Best to Least
1. Miranda (LI) Miranda Will always find a way...
2. Jack (LI)
3. Zaheed- umm he just stays on the Citidal docks...
4. Grunt (I love U Grunt!)
5. Kasumi-
6. Jacob....I'm just gonna stay in this hospital lol
Would be a nice xmas present if BW released a ME3.5 that makes all surviving ME2 squad mates available after thier mission or even during Priority earth
What Team-mates do you think should've been in ME3

Miranda and Jack because they are LIs, you don't create a characters that players can make a connection and then in the last game when the players want them at their side you just put them aside giving them 2 or 3 corvesations through the game...
Yeah Citadel was great i know.

This is true too. I was only thinking of it in terms of non-romance story threads that seemed like they should have continued to play out, but the ME2 romanced characters should have been squad mates or at least had a better presence than some of them got.JShepardN7 wrote...

Players who romanced Miranda, Jack, Thane, and Jacob got the shaft, as did the characters themselves. Jacob arguably worse than all of them.

Let's see. In this, I'll assume we keep the current ME3 squad.
Jack could be on the Normandy, but if romanced it kinda makes sense that she isn't. Plus with training the students she has a mostly legit reason for not being in the squad. I can accept that.
Legion went back to the geth to inform and attempt to make peace with the quarians. He's busy, though having him as a squaddie during the Rannoch arc would have made sense.
Grunt went back to his people. Like Wrex, he's got a commitment as a leader so he doesn't need to be on the Normandy.
Samara reqrouped with the justicars. It could go either way with her, especially considering she tells a paragon Shepard explicitly that she'd step up and assist him when the time came. I can buy her rallaying other justicar's for Shepard's cause.
Zaeed is similar to Samara, only he's rallying mercs and other allies. I can kinda buy that. Maybe he's leading his own squads. Keeping him on the citadel detracts from this a lot though.
Thane of course has legit reason as well, plus he gets his time to shine regardless.
Mordin, see Thane. Still would have been nice to give him a memorial on Citadel dlc and/or see him fight a little again. He seems so defenseless in ME3.
and now the last two...
Dear lord, what were they thinking.
Jacob SHOULD be back with the Alliance. The guy's a commited soldier who only left because they were twiddling their thumbs while Cerberus was taking actions against the reaper threat. He could have had SO much development to make his character more likeable and not such a straight man. After babysitting the scientists, he had NO good reason to sit around with them. Ditch the Brynn Cole is preggers angle, it comes off as a cop out. Once under Hackett's umbrella those people are even safer than aboard the Normandy. Manyn things could have been done with him. Least of all, a proper armored uniform once he makes the switch.
Miranda, as bad as Jacob was, is probably worse. Rather than getting things done with Oriana much quicker with Shepard, she hops across the galaxy alone and says its dangerous out there due to Cerberus assassins. The Normandy is safe, and as proven in ME2, Shepard was efficient in solving problems. She could've done just what Jack did and joined the Alliance as an advisor of sorts. Regardless, after the first citadel meeting there was no good reason for her to not be a squadmate again.
